Nice finish and packaging, accuracy of machining and assembly probably a little hurried. After examination, plane fullly disassembled and blade support cleaned, re-assembled and adjusted. Blade back flattened and re-assembled. Depth of cut adjustment pivot, straightened and bent to fit adjusting wheel accurately. Blade re-sharpened with correct cutting angles and connected to blade back. Bent blade leveling lever and positioning finger to correct position. Lubed and re-assembled plane including tightening of wooden handle screws. Now a fine and accurate piece of woodworking equipment. Might also be worth mentioning that the bed needs the coat of varnish removing from the cutting face as uneven wear of the varnish will result in stickiness and not cutting smoothly and evenly.Still,
