Great design of the bottle (quite tall in the end thanks to the long neck) and label continues into a very enjoyable whiskey. At 43% it’s still smooth but has a bit of a kick to it if having it neat.Sits very well when enjoyed over ice - probably its best iteration.I haven’t used it in cocktails or mixed with cola etc, but can imagine it’s going to stand up well in a Manhattan, Old Fashioned or Mint Julep.Having said that, it’s best focused on being a sipping whiskey.Amazon has the best price around for it - but it’s not very well known in the UK so lends itself to being a great gift option for the bourbon fan in your life.

Often heard the Evan Williams brand mentioned in thriller books which I often read but had never tried or even seen a bottle on the UK shelves. Grabbed on a lightning deal recently for £20 and was pleasantly surprised. It's almost like someone has married Jim Beam with Jack Daniels no7, you have the initial rye and oak flavoring of Jim Beam but this is followed with the smooth and slightly spicy sweetness on the tongue of JD no7. Very pleasant indeed but I doubt I would go much above £20 on the price should I return.Probably could be used with a mixer but best consumed neat (or over ice if required)

Initial taste very reminiscent of Jim Beam, but finishes with a very nice, pleasantly dry aftertaste unlike any bourbon I've ever tried, I say pleasantly dry as I don't usually like dry tastes but this is just right, as others have said it is maybe a little ' fiery' but again it's just right. This bourbon goes through the 'Lincoln County process', ie; it's filtered through sugar maple charcoal, same as Jack Daniels, and this gives a nice extra sweetness, very nice bourbon the way it should be.

This is a surprisingly delicious bourbon with juicy citrusy and spicy notes on the nose and a smooth subtly sweet finish that lingers like an engaging guest. I drink it straight or with a few dashes of Angostura to highlight the bourbon's inherent spiciness. I highly recommend this, and don't worry it's not cloyingly sweet like Southern Comfort or Jim Beam, it's really just a hint of it that marries well with the bitterness of the alcohol (it's 43% ABV).

Once the alcohol "burn" has subsided, this leaves a really great warm and smooth/mellow feeling in my mouth. Yes, I really like it and feel it's good value.Taste is, after all, extremely subjective and I'm reluctant to add anything to an alcoholic drink other than another shot of the same spirit. I have little or no faith in comments about nuances of flavours and firmly believe in drinking, or eating, what YOU like.Pour it, sip it, enjoy it.

The comments claiming this is similar to Jack Daniels or Jim beam are simply incorrect, this is not a whiskey flavoured syrup. It's closer to bulleit bourbon if it was served over charred oak briquettes. If you like your whiskey fiery with a flavor of burnt (not toasted) oak then you'll enjoy this. The vanilla and ripe banana flavours come though well and you can subdue the overpowering burnt taste with a couple of cubes of ice.

Swift delivery, and extremely well packaged to ensure it arrived in one piece! A wonderful Bourbon whiskey, full-bodied and smooth with a gorgeous aroma, taste and deep colour. It's just perfect.

I've tried some moderately expensive bourbons as of late, but I must say that this stuff is excellent for the price. Brilliant on ice, or wonderful for making the occasional cocktail.

I bought this because it was on offer and because the distiller was originally Welsh ?. I like Jack Daniels. This seems a little sweeter and a bit smoother. Very nice.

Well worth the little bit extra in cost to get a drink that is a little bit special. No need to add cola to this whiskey as it smooth enough to drink neat.

Love this stuff, buy it in the US all the time but lockdown has depleted my supplies. Bit expensive in UK but I suppose it has to be imported.

oh yes. Welsh Bourbon. A tidy drop with caramel and coconut tones. Good sipping whisky. Smoother than the other two market leading Bourbons.

Great price as got this during the lightning deals, has a much better flavour than Jack Daniels. Great on it's own over ice or with coke.

All exactly as expected and I couldn't have hoped for a better delivery date - Rapid service without over inflated charges - thanks :)
