Whilst gin has seen considerable innovation in the past decade, poor old vodka has been left behind. Other than the one with the goose on that has become a premium brand, most people view the rest as being homogeneous to such an extent that they only buy the cheapest on offer as, to be frank, they are all much of a muchness and, let's face it, you only mix them with something else anyway.Sadly, this lack of distinction in vodka is primarily the result of global alcohol companies being able to produce their Russian sounding products in industrial quantities in gigantic plants that look like huge chemical works.Vodka drinkers who are looking for a bit of quality and refinement should not despair. If you search carefully enough there are brands on the market that are both distinctive and affordable. I prefer to sample vodka neat so you can really get a feel for what it is like. This Stolichnaya Premium Vodka (known as Stoli in Riga) is privately owned and is popular throughout the former Soviet Union. Now I don't know about you but I would expect that proper Latvian vodka would be better than anything make by an English company and you would be absolutely right. A sip of this and you realise what vodka should taste like. Prost!

Always buy this as a birthday/Christmas present for my father in law who very much likes it (and can get very drunk on it very quickly!). It can be hard to find in my local supermarkets so tend to buy it on here.Bottle has a nice design as well so makes a nice gift for a vodka drinker who likes to try different flavours. I don't really like alcohol so not a reliable authority on flavour, however whilst the tiny drop I had stripped the flesh from my throat I do remember it wasn't sickly sweet, if that concerns you.Have ordered it several times from amazon and always arrives safely.

Amazing Vodka!I've drank a lot of the premium vodkas out there (Beluga/Belvedere/Smirnoff/Russian Standard and of course the playboys favourite Grey Goose) this blows them all away in terms of smoothness and flavour.I didn't have time to chill this vodka as I normally do, but drinking it at room temp it's a lovely smooth tipple. Who knew Vodka doesn't have to come from Russia?!! If your like me and love your unflavoured vodka, give it a try especially at this price!

Stolichnaya Vodka has been a fairly recent revelation to me. I'm usually a Whiskey or Gin type. When I have had Vodka, it tended to be either flavoured or mixed. But Stoli is smooth enough to sip unsullied as well as being the perfect base for a mixer. And, I know it's a small point - but I also love the look and style of the bottle/label. As of writing this review, I've yet to try some of the more exotic flavours, but it's only a matter of time! Highly recommended.

This is a delicious salted caramel vodka that unlike many other caramel and toffee vodkas retains a full strength 37.5% alcohol content. Combined with the sweetness, this can creep up on you a bit! The flavour is delicious. Smooth and sweet with a lovely caramel taste and just a hint of the savouriness of salt at the end.Nice unadulterated, over ice or with soda/sparkling water - all of which allow the caramel flavour to really come through.

If you're in a pinch for a Vodka to drink straight and they're selling Reyka on here for £28 rather than the bargain £22 then you can't go far wrong with Stoli. It's usually in the low 20 quid mark, it doesn't really burn on the way down but it does have some good pop to it and it's pretty smooth to sip on the rocks. It's a good go to for a sipping vodka.

I like this Vodka 'cause it's cheap,And even good when it's drunk neat.It goes down with a little burn,And over ice is best, I've learned.Make Martini's, Bloody Mary's, and Moscow Mule's,Make Collin's, and Russian's, and Blue Lagoon's.You could pay twice as much for a Vodka as nice,But why pay when there is; Stolichnaya and ice.

Wow!!! This stuff is absolutely lovely. I bought this to take away on a short winter break where there is an outdoor hot tub. Not usually a vodka drinker but this goes down so well on its own without any mixer. Vanilla flavouring just the right strength. Think the bottle lasted 4 nights between us. Already ordered more. m m m m m.

First tried this about a year ago and fell in love with it straight away. It's so smooth on the rocks or if you want to get creative it can be used in various cocktails. Salted tootsie roll and a salted white Russian are 2 of my favorites. Also, can be used in milkshakes or even cooking this stuff is amazing in my opinion!!

This is definitely a top-range vodka. You can taste the difference but it is 40% so it's best not to top up too often. It has a smooth taste but don't let that fool you into thinking you can have that little bit more because believe me, you'll regret it the next day. So the message is - be 'very' drink aware.

I usually drink whisky but every now and then I read stuff to do with how diverse vodka is.I must be a peasant because I can't really tell the difference between this and every other £15-25 vodka.. Nor can I really drink it straight its too sweet and sickly.Really good in mixers though. It's smooth.

A nice vodka with a fruity aroma and does not burn the nose. Texture is not thin with a fair finish. I like the bottle design. The product is 40% ABV unlike a major competitor which for me, and I'm sure others, is a selling point. Overall a reasonable vodka for the price and one that I would buy again.

Bought this product as I'm a fan of Stolichnaya, originally had only tried the original, but after trying this one I'll definitely be repurchasing! It's a very smooth vodka, with the salted caramel making it quite sweet, making it a great addition to cocktails. Would definitely recommend this product.

Best vodka I have tasted in a long while.. and I am usually a gin drinker... this stuff is so smooth you can drink neat. Creamy thick mouthfeel and slight aftertaste of vanilla. Too nice to want to mix too much into it.. just drink ice cold and maybe a wedge of lemon or lime ect if you must..

I don't do flavoured spirits really. Especially vodka, however. I use this for a range of drinks, it's great with lemonade as a summer drink alone, it's absolutely fantastic with multiple uses in cocktails. It's certainly a versatile drink and for the price it's worth it!
