I used to drink neat spirits but, now that I'm in my fifties, this sometimes leads to a slightly irritated throat so I have started to dilute drinks. I bought this large bottle of absolut vodka in the sale as it was great value and I can use the colourful bottle afterwards as a candle holder. I tried diluting it with freshly-squeezed mandarin juice, which was nice, then tried it with strawberry juice which I'd frozen into cubes. (I just boiled a few over ripe strawberries, ate the cooked fruit and froze the juice in ice cube trays.) Strawberry vodka, providing you keep stirring it, tastes great and is one of your five a day!

Perfect vodka...very clean, well made and a perfect mixer for cocktails. Happy to support the Swedish economy by buying this....and very happy to be not buying Russian vodka...thereby not supporting that aggressive state! Sorry Russian people but you need to get a decent leader who doesn't try to murder anyone who disagrees with him. So there Putin! This is top quality vodka....40% as opposed to the usual 37% so nice and strong. I love drinking this ice cold and neat with either a slice of lemon peel or a splash of a good orange liqueur...here's to the Swedes...

This is the best vodka on the market in my opinion and cheaper on Amazon than the supermarket! It’s well packaged and arrived complete. Have used it to make alcohol ice pops which are funnily enough very popular with my friends! You can add fruit in too and to get them to freeze sufficiently, I find a 1:3 vodka to, say, tonic or fruit juice ratio. Incidentally, the ziplock pop wrappers can also be found on Amazon.

thisis a good vodka it tastes different to the normal russian stuff we buy (you know the one beginning with s)it tastes cleaner and still has that plesant warmth, the bottle is stylish and tells you a little of the making of the product, at its presant price is very good as i prefer to have 1 ltr bottles or it seems to dissapear too fast

This is my favourite Vodka (the next one that comes close is the Polish Vyborova).It has a lovely and very smooth taste, there is none of the harsh course sting many other vodkas have.Best drunk very very chilled, it literally flows down your throat like a nice cool oyster ;)And the bottle looks very cool and stylish!

I mostly pay around £20 a time for this, here on the amazon. anyone else found an allergic reaction to this? ie drink a few and falling over? hahaha sorry, just a little light humour, let me just say once more, good price, great quality 40 proof in uk terms. if you can pick it up for around £20, its a good saving :)

Man.... Please don't make the mistake of drinking it straight like I did. Tastes like how hand sanitiser smells. Got so drunk I threw up and passed out, and even now almost a week later the smell of hand sanitiser makes me nauseous. Take it slowly, don't underestimate how quickly you can get drunk when drinking this

Really enjoyed this vodka from Absolut. It doesn't taste as harsh as some brands do in taste. Admittedly isn't the smoothest on the market but is fantastic for the price and size of the product. I would recommend this as a go to vodka for events and parties or even just to keep in your mini bar at home

An excellent base for cocktails and mixers from Bloody mary's to Martinis at a reasonable price. Also nice straight from the freezer with a silky texture and subtle malt flavours as it warms in the mouth. The bottle is a bit funky but it's the same old reliable, goes with everything Absolut Vodka.

Can't comment on the flavour as I didn't buy it for drinking. At £20 for 1L its considerably cheaper than the black market alcohol hand gel I had been buying previously. You just pour it all over yourself and then you're good to go!Especially recommended for old people who may be more diseased.

If you want a great vodka, Absolute is a MUST buy, it's so smooth and not too full on like other makes.I know it used to be £5.00 cheaper as it was on offer but heck, for another £5.00 at least you know you are getting a trusted and popular brand and at a reasonable price.100% recommend.

A few steps up from the standard Absolute, tastier for sure but still not as silky creamy smooth as the likes of Black Cow my current favourite, which somehow goes beyond the medicinal/alcohol taste of regular even super premium Vodkas to super smooooth

First time i have tried Absolut, usually drink Grey Goose but it was on offer so took a punt. Very nice, not as smooth as your more expensive brands but better than Smirnoff and for the price a decent Vodka. Would defiantly buy again if when on offer.

Just taken delivery of this bottle and I'm Absolut-ly delighted. It's not the "standard" bottle in the picture, but is indeed one the million or so unique bottles out there. A beautiful addition to my collection of limited edition bottles.
