As stated in other reviews, I like making (experimenting with) the odd cocktail and although purists probably think flavoured Vodka is sacrilege, unless you knock it back neat, use a mixer and you've flavoured it (some Russians put black pepper on theirs). Given a current penchant for Summer cocktails (and trust me they can be pleasantly 'lethal' with the right mix), I figured a vanilla based Vodka would enhance one. Oh boy does it ever. Naturally, I had a tiny sip neat to check flavour (I may want to buy more was my reasoning), and then mixed up a mini cocktail ready to smooth the appearance of the clown from 'It', AKA a certain annoying chap who thinks we should drink bleach, not nice Vodka stuff.

Have tried a number of these 'Absolut' flavoured vodkas, this to date is the best I have tried. Some of the others have tasted as though a flavouring had been added for the sake of it, I understand that they use natural ingredients but it seems a knack how they make them harsh and unpalatable in some of the flavours they offer. Anyway, enough of that and back to the current subject, a rich and creamy flavour, almost like cream toffee, as soon as you open the top you will smell what you are about to taste. Very smooth, a trifle of harshness on the palate but this is strong vodka with no added sugar. The overall flavour would put it into the dessert category if not for the bite.

I'm not really one to promote drinking, but this is a lovely product. If you're not drinking it from the freezer you're missing out.Seriously, throw it in the freezer for at least 8 hours if not a few days and it will change viscosity (it gets 'thicker') and any fears of a 'burn' will disappear. We've tried it in fruit juice, in Pepsi and my personal favourite, Root Beer.It has a potent vanilla hit, and if like me that's something that you enjoy, you'll love this.

I have tried the raspberry absolut and that was great for shots and mixing into the plain pop drinks as it gave it some taste. I'm not entirely sure what the best use for the vanilla flavour is though, it's a lovely taste but after a few shots it gets quite sickly but I can't really tell it's vanilla vodka if I mix it with pop so I'm not really sure what the point of this is. Lovely for a few shots though and it looks good if you collect the absolut bottles!

Literally the only use I have for it - but it completes a p-star (passionfruit) martini like no other. I must say it's very sweet on it's own or as a mixer with lemonade or cola - but I don't use it for that. Always looking for more ways to put it to use but I'm pretty happy with endless p-star martinis!..Thinking about it. It would be perfect as a shot as it's certainly less sharp on the tongue than plain vodka.

Mixed opinions on this vodka - is it good mixed? Yes, you get a vanilla after taste, and it goes great with lemonade. Is it good as a shot? No, it tastes like chemicals, however a friend really liked this as a shot so that could just be me.If you like mixing vodka this is for you, if you prefer shots like me then maybe buy a smaller bottle to test it first.

This drink was incredibly fragrant so was great to put into drinks such as hot chocolate as it would smell great. However, it's not as sweet as it smells so for those who are looking for a flavoured vodka, this might not be your first choice. You can still taste a bit of the vanilla but not enough for me to drink it straight and enjoy it by itself.

I stopped drinking other vodkas when I found absolut. It’s the only one that leaves me hangover free! The spirit tastes nice and clean, the flavoured ones are strong and natural tasting. Vanilla doesn’t taste artificial like some. Love the simple bottles. Always come well packaged and have been ordering problem free for years from Amazon

Absolut vodka produce one of the nicest Vanilla Vodka's on the market. This is a fantastic spirit to go with coke/pepsi or even in cocktails. I enjoy using this in cocktails and soft drinks to really bring the vanilla flavour into the beverage which is much better than the taste of vodka. I would recommend you giving this vodka a try.

I didn't much like this but I'm giving it five stars - why? I like vanilla and I like vodka but this didn't really work for me, in the same way a pepper ice cream probably wouldn't. However, it is a nice vodka and it really really tastes of vanilla, it does exactly what it claims perfectly so I can't fault it.

I love this vodka, it's perfect with coke or by itself, I would definitely recommend it. You would probably have to get a box for it if you were gifting it and wanting it to look special as it doesn't come with one, just in Amazon packaging, but other than that it would make a great gift for any vodka lover.

I am rather fond of Vanilla Vodka and it is the only flavoured Vodka I regularly drink and I often buy the Absolut brand when I see it at a reasonable price. This is really tasty with a distinct vanilla flavour without being too sweet. Great with soda, lemonade or on its own but best with ice cream soda!

This vodka was an amazing gift for my mother's birthday, it arrived promptly and was packaged extremely well. This product when consumed neat was flavourful but still produced the heat that vodka should in the mouth. When drank with coke it gave off hints of Toffee and tasted amazing. would recommend.

Favorite vodka. I have tried a lot, and this one is the best vodka out there to make white russians. Pair it with Kahlua Original Rum and Coffee Liqueur and a load of full fat milk and a little ice. Or, if you prefer, replace the milk with a cola of your choice and you have a black russian :)

I love flavoured vodka and this vanilla one is no exception, it's delicious with coke. I've not tried any cocktail recipes but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be disappointed. The price is great on Amazon and they stock flavours that aren't readily found in the supermarkets. Very happy customer ?
