This is a professional tool if you are going to work on fine pitch with 100s of pins IC chip. It's abit expensive but worth for the price and the quality that this station and it's tips have. And it's short length tips make your job easy, accurate and steady to work on different soldering environment. I Love ERSA soldering stations. :)

Professional tool probably more than required for diy use but you definitely get what you pay for.Amazing 9 seconds heat-up time. Handles large desoldering or very fine rework with ease
