First thing in the morning I followed the instructions by putting hot water in and tipping out. Then I put in 2 kettles worth of boiling water.About 11 o' clock at night I pumped some out and it was really hot. I was pleasantly surprised at how effective the flask is.

Good Performer easy to keep clean. Keeps hot liquid to 70% of original temperature for 6 hours, good for hot water for making drinks. Really pleased good German design and quality

Pre-heat vessel with boiling water, remove after ten minutes and fill with boiling water and lasts for 24 hours. Used for dipensing hot soup with no problems at all.

My husband and I drink numerous cups of tea a day so this is much better for us than a tea pot, it keeps it piping hot for much longer than a tea pot.

The pump action is very smooth. Liquids keeps hot for hours. Very well pleased and would recommend this pump flask.
