Being my warcry, as I, an early 30's man throw my mid 20's girlfriend from the top of a Jawa sandcrawler on Tattoine. We've been playing co-op throughout the game, doing all side missions, mynock hunting, attempting to run each other over in speeders and other typical 'working together' stuff, and have just gotten to Endor. Having completed "Twilight of the Republic" on hard difficulty (with all side missions) in under 4 hours, we're trying to stretch this out a bit. I game pretty much constantly, she only on fun games, like this. One difference is that experience is shared between the two of you, as opposed to Twilight, where only one of you would get those precious orange sparks. You can literally be on the other side of the map in this, and you'll level up at the same rate. I think we found all of the champion coins much faster than in Twilight as well, so it lets you play as who you want a lot sooner as well. The story is heavily skimmed over and made child friendly, though the characters have some nice touches, like Luke saying "I'll get it done" on mission acceptance, much like Anakin did. He also has possibly the best special attack yet, making him immune to all damage when you pump enough points in it, allowing force-fuelled rampaging. As others have commented, he does have a blaster as his ranged weapon so no zooming around the map like dear old dad.The starship sequences are vastly improved in this as well, easier to see what's going on, and with prompts at the start of each 'section' so you know if you're shooting TIE fighers down, evading fire, evading obstacles, or everything at once. You also get rated from 'Bad' to 'Awesome' for each section of these sequences, which then gives you an overall score at the end. We're not the best at these so I couldn't tell if you get a bonus to having all 3 sections as Awesome or not.Iconic moments so far include the Death Star trenches, fighting AT-ATs on Hoth and battling atop the Sarlacc pit, to complaints of "you have the better character!" and cries of "this isn't fair". I can't see Endor affecting my overall view too much, and chances are we'll restart the playset on extreme difficulty anyway, so I definitely recommend it.

I got into Disney Infinity with the Marvel Avengers sets in 2.0 and I was really disappointed with them. The Gameplay was extremely repetitive, the physics were atrocious and clunky, and as for the map...well, it was a large area with lots of empty buildings. However, in 3.0 that seems to have changed. I played Twilight of the Republic's main story in one 3/4 hour sitting and really enjoyed it. Despite some repetitive gameplay, I never found myself bored, but actually wanted to continue in the story. The game itself feels very much like Lego Star Wars with it's fun for all ages vibe. I could complain about how short the story itself is, as I'm used to 30-40 hour stories. However, the side missions make this game well over 30 hours and I'm looking forward to completing them.I still have a big jibe about Disney Infinity and it's how the toys themselves are used. Apart from taking the characters in and out of the game, the toys have no use at all. You are literally just buying a character to play and that's it. With the likes of Lego Dimensions, you put the character in game and then the Lego Dimensions base serves a further purpose as you can also input vehicles and control aspects of the game by moving around characters on the base. I think this would work really well with Infinity in certain worlds, but not all of them.Secondly, you can't mix and match character's in stories, just in the Toy Box Mode. I have spent £10 on a new character, I want to be able to use it in any game mode I like, again - this is possible in Lego Dimensions. Disney say they haven't allowed this to stay "True to the stories" when it's obviously nothing more than to make you buy each set to control your favourite characters in. It also is a little hypercritical saying that whilst telling stories that are incorrect chronologically. (Twilight of the Republic has many things wrong with this which don't line up with the Star Wars story - which is fine, it's just game...just don't then claim your doing anything to keep stories intact). Those two issues, however, are just to do with Infinity as a whole - Twilight of the Republic & 3.0 despite that are excellent, fun, creative games.

Me and my boys love this. Me being a huge Star Wars fan getting this was a not brainer. Great figures, and great characters to use on screen. Finn has a more of a brawler style in the meelay department. For his long range he has an semi-automatic laser riffle. So you just press the R2 button and he empties the clip of 5 shot then does a quick reload and shoots again. Ray's is the more technical and lethal meelay attacks spinning the staff around like a ninja, then she has her blaster pistol Han Solo gave her in the movie as her distance attack. It is surprisingly powerful. I only have 2 complaints about Ray: The first is I think she should have been given a lightsaber, but the way she uses the staff makes up for this a lot. Also it makes her different from the other Jedi characters. The second is almost no though has been been give to her special attack. It is a staff assisted jump kick. Really? I did not even remember her using that in the movie. However what it lacks in visual appeal it makes up for in damage. All this and you get he Force Awakens level open as well. I could not give this anything less than 5 stars.

I actually bought this for just the figurines. I have no idea what Infinity 3.0 as a game is supposed to be and I know that's not included anyway. I think these two figures are like the chess pieces. But as far as 3-4 inch figurines go (or chess pieces!), these are fantastic. The poses of Ashoka and her tragic master, Anakin are true to their characters in Clone Wars and Ashoka is especially cool and very fitting for her as an evolved character (made years before Series 7 released when Ashoka's was at her most supreme). But its the vibrant detailed painting on them that is outstanding, as if they jumped straight out of my Clone Wars Animated series blu ray.The only thing that slightly spoils it for me is the very light brown coloured bases which feels a bit jarring,I wish it was a darker colour that blends more with the figures. The figures are not articulated, they are static but that means they are at their most dynamic pose ready for action with no articulation joints showing.I love this pair so much and at £7 for the pair, its absolutely worth it....what ever this infinity game is...that's just a bonus.

This is a must have. Why is any Star Wars fan bothering to read the reviews? You get the Skywalker twins Luke and Leia and the unlock levels based on the original trilogy. What is there not to love. My son was especially happy with Luke as he can shoot as well as use the lightsaber, as you climb his skill tree, Luke's Force abilities increase, it is almost like seeing the farm boy to Jedi transformation taking place before you in the game. Ok I admit I got this for the Luke figure getting the level and the Leia figure was a bonus. I this game Leia seem to has had a few Tae Kwon Do lessons. Her meelay attack is a 3 kick combo high Round, leg sweep, and a gravity defying flying kick.Of course she also has he trusty blaster as an up grade you can be enhanced to stun opponents to make them more prone to meelay attacks. She can also double jump, but I have not seen any Force enhancements on her character as of yet. oh and her special is to call Artoo, how cool is that? This is a great set and must have for any Star Wars fan, worth every penny.

We've jumped straight from Disney Infinity 1.02 Disney infinity 3.0. I was really looking forward to playing this new Star Wars based game especially because it was based on the original trilogy.I was a little bit shocked to find that you could play any one of the characters of Luke, Han, Leia or Chewbacca from the outset. I realise they were trying to shoehorn all of the characters in early to allow you to choose who you wanted to play.I found the original scenario on Tatooine quite good. Warning for a few spoilers. The band then go on to the Death Star and this part is seems incredibly brief and I think Disney missed an opportunity here to make a good part of the game and a lengthy Death Star scenario. It was all over a bit too quick. After the destruction of the death Star (this is all a bit too quick as well), the characters end up on Hoth. This scenario like Tatooine is quite good fun. At the conclusion of this scenario you zip off and end up on Endor. No Lando. No Bespin. Disappointing.Nice game but a bit rushed.

I'm new to the Disney infinity party, coming just for Star Wars as its not looking like it will be on Lego Dimensions and although I do rather do enjoy the game Disney really missed a trick with this one! As a massive Star Wars fan the New Hope inclusion in this game really jars and grates at me! Shoehorning all the major characters into all of the New Hope section is just wrong in my view! What would have been better for Disney is to take their new purchase for a ride in the Star Wars galaxy taking our main heroes on the adventures between A New Hope and Empires Strikes Back, find out what changes Han's mind on staying with the rebels... What the rebellion have been doing between destroying the deathstar and setting up on Hoth. That's why I only give it 4 starts, forcing the main characters into all of the New Hope was an opportunity lost we could have had a new snippet of the Star Wars Galaxy and it would have made this even more attractive to Star Wars fans.

This is the first non-open world Disney Infinity playset. It's a platformer, like Mario Galaxy. Considering its meant to be 6-8 hours there is a lot of content. Around 25 levels all with 3 sets of collectibles and a time challenge there is a lot of replay ability. I must confess I have yet to finish it but what I have played, about half has been fun with some very diverse level ideas. A must have playset for 3.0. Also noting Joy and Anger, both great characters but it does seem Disney interactive has gotten lazy again. Like with 1.0's toy story characters all of the Inside Out characters have basically the same ranged attack. It's not to much of an issue as the effects make them look different but it would have been nice for some more diversity.Overall, a fun playset with good links to the movie and two interesting characters. Just to note the figures themselves are very detailed and the playset piece is of Riley's core memory holder.

Got this and Infinity 3.0 as a Xmas present (bought from Amazon). As a 41 year old I didn't think I would enjoy this game - Forza 6 and Elite Dangerous being my usual Xbox One games. Well I have to say I am loving it.As a huge Star Wars fan I shouldn't like that the story has been messed around a bit so that the heroes of A New Hope are all together at the start, but for the ability to play any of these characters ( figures depending) it's a needed thing. I would have been nice if a story in between New Hope and Empire but playing a Star Wars game is a joy.The figures look really good, Luke being pre Jedi means he is armed a blaster (how uncivilised) as well as a lightsabre.Princess Leia is really cute/sexy looking.Great and fun game for young and old.

Its sad that this is the last playset. It could have so easily been for Moana later this year, but after 2.0 lacked any sets other than Marvel, Pixar managed to get two final playsets for 3.0.To note, Finding Dory the playset takes place AFTER the Finding Dory movie. Do not play it until you have seen the film or simply don't care. The playset only allows you to use two characters, but to make up for it, you can continuously respawn at checkpoints with either Dory or Nemo, without much penalty. As usual, the playset piece unlocks stuff for the Toybox simply by tapping it to the pad, and playing the set unlocks further playset toys. It also gives you textures for your Toybox, based on the scenery of Morrow Bay.

Whilst I'm not a big fan of Star Wars, this playset has swayed me. To begin, the two figures included, Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano, are very well made. Their overall design is both colourful whilst keeping in line with other figures in the Disney Infinity toy line. The game aspect meanwhile is an excellent space adventure that will take you across the planets made famous by the classic TV series. The combat in particular is stellar, unlike previous titles, you are able to chain together attacks and build up a combo for devastating attacks, which in itself is visually impressive.Overall the story is a vast improvement over the majority of other play sets, and the amount of content is well worth the buy.

Another great set for the Disney infinity game. The games takes you through four locations, that certainly look good and remind me of parts of the films. If you already own a Start Pack for Infinity n your own console, you can now just buy the 3.0 game disc on its own.you will then need to purchase a play-set and figurines to use it properly but this gives much more control of how to purchase the game. You can start with the Rise of the Empire play-set for Episodes IV-VI, if you want to do it in film order. You can use any of the characters in any of the Star Wars adventures regardless of the era.Well worth the money and has been a welcomed investment by my children.I quite like the charactersas well

Star wars is huge at the lowest due to the release of the new film and my little boy is star wars crazy. My little girl loves princess leia also so I set them both a challenge at school and if they achieved this I would treat them to an add on for the disney infinity game. Well needless to say they both did great at school and I purchased this play set for them to play with. The characters are well made and the kids love the fact they get new characters and also a new mission to play through thanks to the death star play set piece. With the range ever growing and my kids getting smarter I am sure I will be purchasing more of this range in the future.

These figures are very well made and have beautiful detail! The graphics really are amazing, such vibrant colours. The game itself is lots of fun and I've enjoyed playing it with my daughter!! My little one uses them a lot in the toy box and they really are great. Anger has the ability to make fire come out of his head which my daughter finds highly amusing! I would 100% recommend these, hours of fun to be had!!It's worth mentioning, these characters only work with the 3.0 disc although you can use them with any base.

Definitely one of my most favourite Playsets yet, and currently it's the only game that allows you to play as the new Star Wars characters from the new movie, unfortunately the new STAR WARS Battlefront game, will be keeping with the original series and won't allow players to play as any of the new heroes, which leads fans over to Disney Infinity 3.0 Playset The Force Awakens, which helps cure that hunger that you feel, for a great Star Wars story experience. This is a must have for Star Wars fans young and old.
