If you like blended whisky then this is an excellent example. I love blends, a good blend is far better than a malt in my mind. There is more complexity, sophistication and general "whiskyness" to a blend. I realise that this tramples on taboos amongst the cognoscenti, but it's a matter of taste. Good blends, however, are uncommon and great blends rarer still and often very expensive. This bottle is not cheap, and for the Love of Grog please do not even think about putting soda or water with this as it would be a waste of what is a very thoughtfully and sensitively constructed drink. Each unique component of the blend merges seamlessly in the mouth with the last, there are no "discreet compartmentalised tastes" as you often get with some blends which brings to mind Frankenstein's monster where parts are crudely bolted together, rather you have a unified symphony, as tastes roll in, backgrounds become foregrounds, crescendos and falls but with a recognisable "whole" or personality above the process. It is fruity, like an autumnal afternoon by the fire, full flavoured and masculine in a leather armchairs and tobacco way. This is an absolutely wonderful whisky.

I am not sure if this is chill-filtered or not, but it does have a slightly creamy mouthfeel and quite flavorsome. It is great value when compared to some mediocre single malts. My other favorite of compass box is hedonism which is absolutely delicious!

superior stuff. whiskey is quite subjective - so i'll just tell you the others i like drinking: the generic go-to is jack daniels; i like certain light and aged single malts (absolutely love the older dalmores) and i love red breast, an irish great.

Rich and delicious. Encountered it at the famous Milk & Honey bar in London, where it is the house Scotch whisky. Versatile and a cut above others in its class. Made by Compass Box.

Love all Compass Box products. Only issue was that upon delivery the seal on the box was ripped, inside the lid on the tube was pulled up, giving the impression of tampering.

Finest blend I have tasted. Absolutely stunning fruity blend. Nice and light but full of flavour and great for summer drinking.

Absolutely bloody gorgeous. As good as any single malt I've had, and I've had a few. Only downside is the size of the bottle :(
