The phone is great, looks great, build quality is good, clarity top notch, speaker phone works very well. Phone book is easy to use and numbers and names are easy to add. There is a strip down the side with a label that you can write extensions or names on to and you have 10 hot dial buttons which is really handyIt will take an RJ11 style headset connector, it has a privacy button which is cool, if you`ve got someone on loudspeaker, or on the handset you press it and they can`t hear anything, the secrecy button also flashes a nice orange colour when activated, the handsfree button has a nice solid green light. Overall very pleased with the phone, the one disappointment to me is the screen,

This BT Converse 2300 phone is just what I was looking for. It is a quality product, sturdy (I've dropped it several times already) and it looks good too. Thoroughly recommend it.Pros:Sound is crystal clearButtons are nice and bigComfortable to holdThe screen display is very readableFunctions are intuitive & easy to work outCan store your 10 favourite numbers and access each with its own button (*very* useful)Keeps working when the power goes off (tested and true)Cons:Not really a 'con', more an observation: I'm one of those people who tend to hold the handset low down near the microphone end and a few times I've covered the microphone hole with a finger. Bought this phone and a TH100 Professional Headset as I regularly phone conference from home. I chose this model specifically for the hands-free function and the ability to use with a headset so I can continue to use my computer while on a call. The phone fits a standard domestic phone socket and has a number of features which I will never need, but the hands-free/headset/secrecy(mute) functions are great. Another useful function is the ability to increase the volume of the call which impacts the handset, headphones and hands-free. My only criticism is that if anything maximum volume is still relatively quiet so whilst this is OK for the headset,

An Amazon Warehouse item but in far better condition than we had expected. We needed a corded phone as all others in house are cordless. Lots of features, although no answering machine - which we did not need. Seems well made which you would expect from BT. With 10 quick dial numbers and headset capability would also suit an office environment. We would have liked to be able to increase the angle the phone sits at but for the price we paid you can't have everything!

This was a replacement for an earlier purchase that failed: the exchange for a new phone was no problems at all with the replacement arriving inside 24 hours with a return label for the failed phone to be sent back post paid.Warranty service excellent and to date the replacement phone working as expected and doing all of the things set out in the brochure.Would recommend to others (assuming this replacementdoes not fail)

Arrived earlier than expected (bonus) all the packaging was protective and I found it easy to set up. Clarity of calls was good and the instructions for indepth use had to be sourced online, but that was no major problem. Hopefully this will last as long my previous phone which was over 12years!!Overall well satisfied with my purchase, if it had a lit background to the display it would have been the icing on the cake.

The setting up of this telephone was quite simple and does all it is supposed to do. The only thing I wish it had was a flashing light when a message had been received, this is only available if attached to a PBX system and not if in a private residence. Our previous telephone, also from BT, had this facility. It is, however, not really a problem. There are lots of other features which make using this phone easy.

I bought this as you have the pre-set buttons so you can just press the phone number you need without reading through a menu searching for them first.Nice big keypad, easy to use without having to put your reading glasses on first.I like the display and everything about all its features.I would really recommmend this phone and would definately choose it again.

purchased this phone for my elderly mum, she wanted telephone numbers programmed in for ease of use. It arrived really quickly and very easy to use. She is really pleased with it. At over £40 a little expensive, and she does struggle to see the screen as you have to be at the right angle to see it, but overall pleased with the purchase.

East to use good display but no provision for copying your sim card numbers, still once you have entred your numbers they are easy to get to.Display is clear.Smart and nice in your hand, when your chatting up to your hour it is still easy on the hand even if your ear is now flat!

Needed a corded phone to supplement several cordless devices throughout my house in the event of power cuts. The phone also features a display which does not require batteries to illuminate text/numbers. Cordless phones require the base unit to be powered up to function correctly.

Yes, the phone was quite easy to set up and I was happy with the amount of numbers I could store. My only criticism would be that the instructions were very tiny and difficult to read - so much so that I had to go on to BT's website to obtain a version in larger print!

I previously had exactly the same telephone but wanted another to go into a different room - that is how pleased I am with it. This particular model does extra things such as amplify, secrecy and one-button memory numbers.

I am very pleased with this phone, it looks attractive and the display is very clear, also the instructions for it's use are not complicated, I would recommend it to anyone.
