Bought for an elderly relative. - WOW! - It does ALL - and more - of what it says, "on the tin", - as they say. Autonomy, for elderly relatives is MOST important to - "THEM". It lets them "THINK" that they - "ARE" - " in charge". But (as we know) they "STILL" need safeguarding, from time to time, with that - "needy" wee phonecall, - "just incase" of -. I.e: "Emergencies". With the "DORO 331. The "PHOTO" press buttons. DOES help, put their mind at rest, "If" - in a crisis, they "CAN'T" remember the number to call. . . well, all they have to do "IS" - 1: Look at your face. (on the key pad.) . . you'll be there, as soon as you're able.) or 2: 999. . just incase . . . For hard of hearing/ well,

My elderly mother has been struggling with phones for a while. She doesn't have the dexterity in her fingers any more and also is in the early stages of dementia so some phones were seeming "too complicated" for her. This one is so straightforward and easy to use. No letters on the numbers which can be confusing for someone with dementia. Nice big buttons which help with the dexterity problem. Also love the speed dials with the option to put photos in. This is perfect for her with her three daughters. All told this phone is proving a great success.

I bought this phone for my 88 year old mother living in a care home. She desparately needed contact with family living far away but found the ordinary phone stressful. She couldn't remember where her book of phone numbers was and certainly could not use a complicated memory style phone. This phone is neat, has no answer machine to worry her, has large numbers and is ultra easy to use with three extremely large buttons for those special people, and once set up all she needs to do is press someone's nose! Easey-peasy!

Bought as a replacement telephone for an elderly mother with dementia. Liked the big number buttons and especially the three large ones that hold a photograph. It was easy to programme and it works very well indeed. However, the handset doesn't always 'sit' securely in its designated slot. It only takes a slight tap to knock it off the base unit. Perhaps the manufacturers will correct this in future models but until then, it's a good-priced phone that does what it should!

I bought this for my 83 year old mother, who is having difficulty remembering things. The photos at the top with speed dial facility will enable her to contact her three children without having to worry about dialling the wrong person. The buttons are big and easy to read without glasses and the receiver is comfortable for her to hold. A very successful purchase - makes life simpler for her, which can only be a good thing. Very good value.

I purchased the phone for an elderly relative who is partially sighted , the speed dial buttons at the top of the phone are ideal. I removed the photographs that came with the phone and replaced them with large bold initials which my relative can make out . The volume control for the earpiece is a good idea and works a treat. With a built in induction loop for the hard of hearing another good idea , Value for money excellent.

Bought this phone for my mother who, due to sight trouble, was having dificulty seeing her other phones small numbers and dialling pad.It has turned out ideal for her. She is very pleased with its large, easy to see numbers. Having three pre-set number buttons is great too, she knows she only has to press one button and she can reach any of her children quickly without having to struggle with looking up number. Great phone!

Bough for advanced Parkinsons Disease sufferer. Despite the awful tremors/shaking, he can use this easily as the buttons are big. Because the numbers are white on black, he can see the numbers easily (despite having failing eyesight). The 3 big, pre-programmable buttons on the top are a huge bonus (1 touch to dial), and are easy to programme numbers into, Would definitely recommend.

Bought this for for my mother whose eyesight is not what it use to be....This phone is a very good product, it's very simple to use with very large keys and three speed dial buttons that are easy to set up. The ringing tone volume is very good and there's a volume control for the handset. We found it to be that good, we bought a second one for the bedroom.

Just what my 86 year old aunt needed as she struggled to understand and cope with modern cordless telephones. She's absolutely delighted with the phone and uses it daily to keep in touch with family and friends. Added bonus that the phone flashes when incoming calls are connected and ringing. 3 programmed numbers is a very useful function.

But instructions are not in english you have to down load themit's quite simple to do thoughwhen phone up very easy to use my mother had a stroke a few weeks ago and she can now ring us by just pressing one of the programed buttons

Bought for my parents for their room in residential home. Works well, loud tone. Have call barred it and kept for incoming calls only but the large buttons would enable them to ring out if they had ability to. Would recommend

I bought this phone for my parents, who were having difficulty hearing their old phone when they were in their sitting room. This phone has a loud ring and they can hear it now! Very satisfied with the phone.

This phone is excellent. The keys are huge and the speed dial with photos is a brilliant idea. My parents are in their late 80s, and have trouble with fiddly items, this phone makes things much easier.
