bought 2 of these phones for my 79 year old mum who has age related hearing loss and she was stuggling with ordinary phone handset. Our main criteria was something where you could turn the volume up and that DIDNT need a power point nearby as mum didnt have one in her hallway.Looked at RNID website for product recommendations and this phone was one of them, and the price was reasonable as we needed 2, but have been a bit disappointed with the level you can turn the ear piece up on the phone, thought it would be better as it was recommended by RNID.Phone is OK for money but a bit flimsy/cheap looking.The memory thing is good and easy to set up.Overall its OK, but if hearing loss is anything more than slight/low moderate,

This was purchased as xmas gift for mother how ever as her hearing is not to good and could not hear you when phoning her we have given it to her earlySOOOOO glad we did she loves it and so do we as we no longer have to shout when trying to talk to her on the phoneThe pre set numbers are really easy to install (only used the three M1-M2-M3 buttons So can't say anything about the others)She loves the big buttons as she is nearly 89 with memory problems we only wanted a simple easy to use item and this ticks all the boxes

Bought this phone for my parents use (90 & 89 years old) as they're hard of hearing & getting crotchety!It is brilliant - volume control is good & if they fall asleep with the lights down low then when the phone rings and the lights on it glow as well as the extremely loud ring they can spot it easily.So far dad has spilt his coffee all over it but a quick strip down & clean had it operational again in minutes.A really good buy for older folks in particular.Wavey Davey

II bought this about 20 months ago for my elderly father who is slightly deaf and also has dementia so needs something simple. It has been really good up until now when the amplificationhas stopped working for some reason. The manual refers to batteries but there don't seem to be any, which is puzzling. I am therefore assuming it is just broken. Obviously this isn't very good but as the phone suits Dad and he is used to it I am ordering another the same.

Bought this for my mum and had it delivered straight to her house. She rang me to tell me that it arrived and it was in fact, the phone she was using to ring me. It looks quite eye catching being black and white and has a very loud ring, and a bright red panel at the front which lights up when the phone rings. The buttons are nice and big too so she doesn't have to put her glasses on to see to make a call. An excellent price too - very impressed.

Great and fashionable Telephone for your home.Plugs perfectly into a telephone port with no electricity required.It has a loud ring tone with adjustable slider volume control and a visual ringer indicator to.It has various features and is great for the visually impaired with fumble free buttons and is also hearing aid compatible with a T-Coil for interference free hearing.Simple and very easy to use.Great value for money.

I bought this phone mainly because I have major hearing loss and also wanted a standard phone that just plugs into phone socket!Given 4stars as the only thing missing from this phone is an hands free option/speakerBig buttons, easy to see, flashing red light when ringing.Ringer can be turned off which is one of the reasons I bought this.All in all a very good analogue phone for the price

Purchased for an elderly relative who wears hearing aids and works well with them. A couple of faults were that I found it very fiddly to attach it to the wall as the angle of the phone is top heavy. Also a knob has to be turned so the hand piece sits on the cradle properly but it can still easily fall off it if the hand piece is not positioned correctly. Reasonably priced though.

This phone is very good value - a good price with several features including memories. It's rather an odd shade of (pinkish) white but it seems to work well and the caller speech quality is crystal clear. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I would recommend it. And it arrived, well-packed, within two days of ordering!

This was an excellent purchase. I've been looking for a simple, effective, clear-listening phone for my elderly mother for some time and this has really come up trumps. She absolutely loves it and now won't go near the much more expensive and much more sophisticated cordless phone that I'd installed previously.

My Mum in law loves this phone,I bought this phone because she is hard of hearing and when it rings a light flashes on the front(doesn't always switch her hearing aid on) so if she can't hear it she can see it.Nice big buttons as well. All in all she thinks it's great,so if she's happy then so am I.

If you have stiff fingers with arthritis, it's great, you hit the right button. Also great for hard of hearing with the flashing light on the front when the phone rings. Do place the phone so you can see it when watching TV - if you have to have it rather loud - so you can see the light flashing.

Item arrived quickly from the seller . It was easy to set up . The phone is easy to use as the big buttons are clear . You can turn down / up the volume for the phone ringing . There is also light feature on the phone so you can see someone is calling you . Good product .

Bought this phone for my mum who always has trouble hearing on the phone due to hearing problems - its simple and easy for mum to use - its the basic model but is excellent! At least she can have a phone conversation with ease now. A highly recommended phone.

Great phone for the money, first time I have ordered anything from Amazon Warehouse, and if this is typical of the quality I will use it again. My last phone cost over £100 and there were always problems hearing the caller. This £7 phone works brilliantly,
