TLDR: These are some of the most comfortable running shoes you'll ever wear. Like I read on another site, these are like strapping clouds to your feet.I don't run competitively, but I'm on my feet a lot during the day and I'm on paved surfaces. These shoes are stable, provide decent traction, and above all the comfort is amazing. Worth every penny.A word as to how and why I selected these: I read the reviews of multiple shoes at run repeat dot com and these shoes were among the top performers. There were also others like the Glycerin or the Pegasus from Nike that also scored well or even higher. The reason I chose these was the way the sizes run for most of these kinds of shoes; I have a very 'average'foot but I always find that most brands manufactured in Asia run a little narrow for me. So I always look for a '4EEE' designation on the shoe before I buy. This was the top-scoring shoe with an available 4EEE from Amazon at the time I purchased, but as I said above, I'm in total agreement with the other reviewers. This is an awesome shoe for running or everyday wear.

I was looking for something very plush not so much for running, but for standing all day. I wear 10.5 or 11, and got the 11. The toe area is a little narrower than other Saucony and Ascis I've owed with normal D width. My feet are fairly normal width but I like a shoe with plenty of width in the toes. Still these feel great, no problems with the sizing. After wearing them around the house for 2 days they seemed very comfortable and pretty happy so far. Just 1 problem... I bought the Navy Blue, and the color stained my white socks blue. Now this is without the moisture/sweat one would have from running, just wearing them around the house! It's just socks, so no big deal. You'd never notice if you wore dark colored socks, and no one would see the socks anyway. But come on, these are expensive shoes and that's just poor quality. I haven't tried running with these yet, but I can only imagine how badly stained my socks will be when feet get sweaty. So need to take away 1 star for that.

I work in a large school with hard floors throughout. I’m on my feet constantly, walking 15-20 thousand steps per day. I needed a shoe that was beyond comfortable. Brooks shoes were recommended to me and frankly I always thought they were for much older adults. I respect that if that truly was the case. I still would have considered them because my comfort was more important than what people thought about me wearing a shoe for older people. When I went to the shoe store, a teenager who runs cross country told me about how she preferred Brooks to some other brand name running shoes. She explained about the shoes she competes in. I tried a pair and liked them so much that I went to Amazon to find these which are even better. They came in good time and the size was a perfect match! I will say that I ordered a size 12.5 since 12 was not available. (12 is what I actually wear) I would, and likely will, purchase another pair!!!

I had been using the Brooks Levitate to run and do crossfit but my old pair started to wear out. I tried the new Levitate but the toe box was more narrow and the shoe just didn’t feel as bouncy and supportive while jumping. I took a leap and ordered the Ghost instead and I’m so glad that I did. I did some longer 6-8 mile runs As soon as I got the shoe and it literally felt like I was running on clouds. My feet were very comfortable and with the spacious toe box, no problems. I also use these shoes for crossfit when I am jumping up and down on boxes or doing double unders. I need a shoe that is still supportive when I am hitting the ground with more explosive pressure then jogging and this shoe works great for that.I use this shoe for all interval training at the gym as well. I weigh about 180 pounds so this shoe works great for heavier runners. Once again Brooks has created an amazing shoe.

I had been buying cheaper shoes and realized my husband was going through them after 5 or 6 months. I did some research to see what would be good for a high arch, slightly wide foot and that he walks with an under pronation. He absolutely loves the feel of these shoes! He said it was such a huge difference from what he’d Gotten used to with his shoes. My only complaint was a tear in the lining after a month and a half of him wearing them. I reached out the the seller and Amazon, but the only option was to return them for a refund, not a replacement and a restocking fee could apply. Since he was willing to live with the tear, we declined. I reached out to the manufacturer and was blown away at their response!I provided my order info and picture of the shoes. They sent a brand new pair!!! I’m definitely buying Brooks next time and the time after that and the time after that.

I have been looking for a good walking/running shoe that offers a wide toe box for a long time. I tried Asics, but they only offered a few of their shoes in a good width option. I tried Nike, Under Armor, Adidas, Salomon, New Balance, and many others but none had a good shoe with a wide option.I am SO happy I came across these. When I tried them on I instantly knew I had made a good decision. The shoes are light, comfortable, and grippy. They look just as good as they do in the Amazon pictures if not better. For reference I wear a size 12W and the shoe fit like a CHARM. PERFECT. I do have pretty wide feet and the W option was great. One negative was on wet concrete they lose some of their grip.Overall I am impressed and I think Brooks has found itself a new customer!!!Highly recommend these

Hey guys, always extreme difficulty here to find the perfect running shoes. I purchased the top rated brand Asics Gel and I was in pain the day after my daily 4 km. I knew they were not right shoes from me. I purchased this Brooks model and I am glad I did. I ran 4 km on the treadmill and I am feeling great, no feet pain and no lower back pain. I have flat feet and I need a moderate to high arch support. These shows are moderate and they work very well for me but I had to order the extra wide version. The extra wide fits like a glove to me. I would definitely recommend them, they are great shoes and I hope they last for how expensive they are

PROs: Super comfortable, plenty of rebound, great walking/standing around all day shoe, good speed workouts.CONs: not good for distance running. Not good for sharp cornering. Heavy-ishI ran competitively in high school through college so I think I'm qualified to give a confident review. BUT THIS IS MY OPINION, COULD BE DIFFERENT FOR YOU!!! These shoes are super comfy and great to walk around in. These shoes are pretty responsive and provide a decent amount of rebound(spring) which is great for a speed/sprint workout. They are not ment to run long distances 2+ miles. They get hot (Atleast for me) after a mile, and end up getting heavy.

I was A little hesitant to try the levitate 2 only because I've been a Brooke's ghost person for a couple of years now and I love them, but I had read about the comfort level of the levitate so I ordered a pair and I was very pleased. I have two bad knees and these give me a level of support that are even better than the ghost and are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. They fit perfectly and I love the elastic around the ankle. I wear these 8-10 hours a day and I walk an average of 6-7 miles each day and I feel no pain in my knees with these shoes. I highly recommend them for anyone who needs a little extra comfort and support.

I found the Levitate 2 as I have a high arch and these have been the best for me. I have two pair of these I rotate and a pair of Bedlam. I only run up to half marathons and prefer the Levitate 2's on the 10k, 15k and half marathons.I generally use my Bedlam's on the 5k's as I feel a bit faster in them, but they provide me less support.I was a runner in high school and always had Asics. 25 years later I have found Brooks and I think these runners are great. I have almost 250 miles in this first pair and they have held up extremely well. To be very honest, I run on the treadmill or road. I only hit the trail when it is a race.

The Levitate running shoes are the best I've owned and I've tried a bunch. I'm on the heavier side for a runner and I have a slight supinatio in my land... These are perfect for me - not too soft on the landing, but i can feel the explosive nature of the sole as I lift my foot off the ground and move into my stride. One minor point that might be worth highlighting - they might be the smelliest shoes I've ever owned by a factor of five. Not sure why, but the material seems to absorb the sweat and after about 2-3 weeks they're rather pungent (by comparison, none of my other running shoes have ever had a noticeable odor).

I run 3-5 miles, 3-4 times a week. Not a marathoner, my longest runs have been in the 7-9 mile range.I've been running in Brooks shoes for several years now. Most recently switched to the original Levitate and loved the low heel drop. The new generation of the Levitate shoe is even better than the original. This is my second pair of Levitate 2. I really like the elastic around the top of the opening; keeps the heel well seated in the shoe. Sometimes I wish it had more arch support, but I have experimented with various inserts and always come back to the original insert. Really good deal if you find it on sale.

I used to wear Ascics Nimbus 18 because the width was perfect for my 4E foot. ASICS changed their width sizing with the Nimbus 19 and they are not as wide. These Brook Ghost 11 fit even better than the Nimbus 18s did. If you have a wide foot with a high arch get these. If your arch is more neutral get the Adrenaline GTS. Every time when I got new shoes my toes would go numb because the toe box wouldn’t be wide enough, it would take 30 miles to get the shoe broke in. These Ghost 11 4E were perfect on my first run. NO NUMBING! Great shoe. I run 1000 miles a year BTW.

I have always had luck with the Brooks shoe company, the Ghost 10’s and 11‘s especially. Recently I try Nikes Pegasus top rated running shoe and it gave the bottom of my feet blisters. So, I decided to try the next model up in the Brooks line. The Levitate 2 running shoe is an amazing shoe and fits my feet perfectly. I definitely notice the improvement in quality. I can’t wait to use these in the San Francisco Marathon. Great shoe! I Purchased the red, blue fade with the silver band at the bottom. It’s almost obnoxiously 80s and I love it.

Heel was hurting wearing other running/tennis shoes while I walk on my treadmill. Thought I would bump up the quality of my shoes so ordered these. Very light and seem sturdy so far. Wish the base was wider since I have always had a more-than-normal risk of rolling my ankles to the outside, going all the way back to my football and basketball days. But, this is the risk you take when buying without trying on. So, all is good. I like them so far. We will see how many miles I can get on them. I like them and would recommend.
