As other reviews mention, this is a very small bag. It holds my multi-tool, 2 tire levers and a patch kit. It would not hold a spare tube and anything else (just tuck the spare tube under your seat and secure with Velcro strips). I read in a review that the saddle could cut through the leather straps so I smoothed over the saddle's sharp edges with some fine grit wet and dry sandpaper folded up to the same size as the strap. I anticipate no problems and the saddlebag attachment loops really WERE surprisingly sharp The strap was hard to get through those loops, so I wrapped duct tape (hey, don't judge me!) around the straps to create a "lead" to pull the strap through.

Its a small leather tool pouch that hangs off of a Brooks B17 saddle. It's High quality and wonderfully hand crafted. I have received alot of positive comments about it. Its not as DARK as you may think. I put Proofhide on it and darkened it a little, but it is lighter than my aged B17 saddle.It is a different leather material than your Brooks saddle, so be prepared for a more supple product than what you may be expecting. It is not the same leather as your saddle!As you can see from the photo it will hold the needed tools for repairing a flat or undoing the nuts on your bike wheel or small screws. It might hold a smart phone or small wallet, but if you are looking for a touring bag,

It is smaller than I thought, but I bought it mainly as an accessory for my Brooks B66 saddle. However, my B66 has faded after nearly 20 years, and this bag is brand-new, so there will be a contrast. If you are buying a Brooks saddle, you may consider buying this tool bag at the same time so they will age together. When brand-new, the leather is very stiff, almost plasticky-like, making installation difficult. You will have to break it in gently until the plasticky becomes more leathery.

Bought this for hubby's Father's Day to go with his highly adored Brooks titanium Swallow saddle. It looks amazing together! As a road cyclist he looks a bit different but shouldn't you stand out?! My only complaint is this size was a little too small while the larger size bag is a little too big. He now carries a second bag on his top tube to carry the extra tube changing gear & energy bars. I still think the quality is excellent & is great for a person with less baggage.

First let me say that the quality of materials and craftsmanship on this item were great. It's a beautiful piece of work and with proper care will last for years. In my case it's too small, a bit larger than a glasses case. I needed it to hold a spare tube, two tire levers and a multitool, but I could only get the tube and one of the tire levers in. Regrettable, because this really is a quality seat bag. I reluctantly returned it and ordered the larger model.

I chose 4 stars because It looks great, is high quality construction and is everything it was discribed to be. I did'nt give it five stars because it is a bit small and can only carry a small cell phone and a park tool at most. Not really a tool bag. more of a small necessities bag. Sure does compliment the Brooks flyer seat !I really like the look and would recomend this to anyone not needing to carry too much stuff.

A beautiful addition to the bike! Compliments my B-17 perfectly and is a must have. My tools..multi-tool, 2 O2. Canisters, inflator, 2 tire irons, spoke wrench, patch kit, cable ties, valve caps and tube of rubber glue all FIT easily! No room to spare. Serves my needs perfectly. As I carry an extra MTB tube in a tool pod on a water bit cage. Pricey YES but worth every penny!

I love my Brooks Saddles Challenge Tool Bag. I have bought two for a few of my bikes. The match Brooks honey leather saddles and secure well. The product is just what I was hoping it would be. The one point of caution is that it is very small. It is good for a bike tool, pocket knife, wallet, keys, and phone, but that is about it.

Smaller than what I expect it to be. It actually comes in two sizes so don't get confuse. But it looked really awesome on my bike and it serves its purpose as a tool bag. So if you're thinking of getting one make sure to measure the length of the tools needed and compare it with the size that you want.

Classic Brooks quality. I have this saddle bag mated to a B-17 saddle on both of my touring bikes. Leather breaks-in over time to create unique patina which gives the bikes a sublime character and comfort of their own. Functional accessory that easily fits iPhone 6 Plus and multi-tool.

This bag is supposed to be for tools, but it's the perfect size for my bike rides...Sunscreen, bandaids, lip balm and ID all fit without a big bike bag weighing me down. If I'm going to be gone long enough to need food, I ride to a restaurant!

Dear Sir or Madam, the Brooks saddle bag with the dimensions 7 x 21 x 11 cm should be attached to a frame (motorcycle) with a diameter of 3 cm. Would the attachment loops be long enough for that? Thanks for prompt feedback. Greetings M.Lorenz

Item arrived within 2 weeks. Very happy with item purchased. Good quality. Box packaging is preferred. Edge of lid cover of saddle bag got crumpled during shipment delivery.

I mount the bag on my handle bars. The strap makes it easily accessible while riding. Would suggest rolling tools in small rag to quiet any rattling.

I put this on the back of a Brooks B-17 saddle on my steel road bike. It is small, but it holds what I want and has a classic look! I like it!
