This is my second pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS (I think my first was the 16 series). These shoes are fantastic for distance runners. The soles are comfy even after running miles and miles on concrete. My first pair took me through 6 months of marathon training and my first marathon and are still in great shape! I still use them for running, in the gym, and hiking. After two years and 300+ miles, the soles and treads are still in great condition. The only damage is some small tears to the upper which resulted from tough trail conditions and bouldering (these are not bouldering shoes, I was just being reckless).I recently bought my second pair (the ones I am reviewing) and I love them even more!Super comfy durable shoe with great arch support. I tend to get sore knees because I overpronate and run on concrete, and these shoes help counteract both of those factors better than anything else I’ve tried. As for fit - they are true to size. I always find Nikes a bit narrow for my feet but these are perfect. They feel roomy but don’t slide on my feet at all - even when I walk around with them unlaced before and after a run. If you are truly between sizes, I think you could go for the smaller size and be comfortable in these, as they are great at molding to your feet.I’ve been doing some serious training in my new shoes for almost two months and they still look like I unboxed them yesterday. I have no doubt they will be as durable and high quality as their predecessors. 100% recommend for marathoners, road running, hiking, and trails. I don’t think you’ll find a higher quality shoe at any price. These are one of the best investments I’ve ever made.

Love these so much I have two pairs in different colour ways. I have absolutely crap feet - old bunion operation scars, dropped arches, skinny heels, wide elsewhere and bugger all stability in them.I have gone through so many pairs of trainers and discarded them - not wide enough, too wide, don't grip the heel, rub the heel, shred my toes, no inner support etc etc.A running shop recommended these and I bought a pair and my life was revolutionised. I have actually discarded my specially fitted orthotics - I don't need them with these and because I wear these so much my feet seem to have strengthened and I no longer need orthotics in my normal shoes. So I bought another pair in this speckly hundreds&thousands pattern, which I love - it morphs to go with whatever I'm wearing .. they're like special magic chameleon trainers.Anyway - I love them .. I don't run (I have crap knees and a chest that's not conducive to running) but I power walk everywhere in these and I have (touch wood) not had a single blister - which after 50 years on this planet having had blisters from every item of footwear I've ever owned (including Birkenstocks for goodness sake) is nothing short of a miracle. If I could get away with wearing them in the office I would.Treat yourself - go on, you know you want to.

The Adrenaline 18 was my first foray into the world of Brooks shoes a few years ago and I fell in LOVE with them! I use them to teach Jazzercise, and they fit snugly while providing tremendous support for my aging feet and knees. I usually buy new workout shoes every year, so the next year, I got the Adrenaline 19, since the 18's were limited and obviously discontinued. Not. The. Same. They just didn't seem to fit as well and my foot moved around more in them, but I dealt with it, often going back to my old 18's when they matched my outfit better (they had hot pink in them!). Then a year later and I HATED all of the colors of the 20 (too much pastel),so I tried out the Ghost model- little to no support and they are now "lazy day legging shoes." So I've been Jazzercising in 2-3 year old shoes, which is not great for my knees. Found this pair on Amazon one day (for less than $200, which is what the older versions seem to sell for nowadays) and my feet are happy again :)

I am new to running but was recommended these shoes on a running forum. I went on the Brooks website and completed their online fitting tool which recommended the GTS18’s and was lucky enough to find them at a great price on amazon in my size. So I took the plunge and ordered them. Initially I worried they were too small when they arrived, but took a risk and went for a run in them, and they were brilliant! They feel stable and give my toes plenty of wriggle room. I have bones protruding through the ball of my foot due to arthritis but these shoes provide so much spongyness on the soles that I am able to run without pain. I was sceptical and thought all shoes must be pretty much the same but these shoes are a cut above the rest.If you are unsure about buying these please don’t be, they are worth every penny and will aid your running goals no end!

I've bought brooks forever. I buy two to three pairs a year. These are much better then the last version.Pros: comfortableEasy to get on and off. This was an issue with me and the last version.Good running cushion. I have very narrow feet with high arches and these work great for me.Insoles are not needed. I immediately go out and buy $50 insoles with every other pair. I liked these insoles so I decided to try a run without replacing. They were good. We will see how they wear out.Breathable.Cons:Stability. Do not take these out on trials. I have taken these to the trials behind our house. They have a lot of issues and if you are prone to ankle sprains you will need support. All in all my favoriteis still 14 but they are moving in the right direction with this shoe.

I bought these shoes after my old running shoes wore out and I did an online questionnaire to figure out what new shoes I should get. I found these, and after reading the previous reviews for it I was sold. I also used to run but got sidetracked due to plantar fasciitis that has lasted 8 months at this point. I need shoes that will help me and when I'm recovered I want to run again. With all that said, these shoes really hit the mark! I love them. I like the look of them, and they are so comfortable. Right now I can go on walks and they're great. I even love the breathability of them, as my feet tend to sweat a lot. And there is a lot of room for my toes, which is also nice. My shoe brand previously was Asics, but I think now I will keep buying Brooks after getting these.

I absolutely love brooks running shoes but there are so many options to choose from that it can be quite overwhelming. I got these because I over pronate and my nikes weren’t cutting it. These have great support and feel so much more sturdy than the nikes. You definitely have to walk around and break them in before running because the shoe is a little stiff straight out of the box. Other than that they have been fantastic! I use them for biking, rowing, and hiking and they have been great! I also love all the color options and I have found that they are very easy to clean, which has been great since all of our hiking trails here in MD have been super muddy. I love these shoes!!

The visual width of the shoe rather started me. I.m used to narrow-toed shoes that squeeze my toes. The shoe is very comfortable, the heel is well padded at the u-shaped top of the heel, where other shoes might rub. This padding makes the heel an instant, snug, comfortable fit. I didn't wear them all day the first day; the next day my foot muscles were a bit sore-ish because the shoe is reshaping my foot to a more comfortable confirmation. I wore them all day to day and I am planning to buy a second pair. One of the published recommendations of this shoe model is very long and detailed. It reads like my foot ailments! So happy I bought this model of shoe.

I have been wearing brooks adrenaline for years and these do not disappoint. The first day they will feel a little stiff but don't worry, after that first day they will flex with your feel just like your old broken in pair. I've been running distance and sprints in these, I'm an over-pronater and I won't wear anything but this line of shoes.Definitely make sure you go to a running store or a physical therapist and have them analyze your gait. These are stability shoes, specifically for correcting overpronation. Don't buy them just because they're pretty, otherwise you will end up with some knee problems / IT band issues.

I never had Brooks before but a Google search showed them to be one of the best shoes for those of us who over-pronate. They are extremely comfortable. I wore them all day without a break-in period. There is more room in the toe compartment than other shoes, even in the regular width. My foot is wide but not wide enough for a 'W'- width shoe. I would buy more, but the color combinations seem to be targeted for a younger demographic. I work as a nurse and work places tend to be pretty conservative in their dress code policies. I would love a white one with a navy swoosh. (are you listening Brooks?)

After starting to get ankle pain from running just a few miles at a time, I started looking for a good brand of running shoes that would be right for my feet. The difference is night and day, my ankles feel great, and now I can run / jog for up to six miles without problems. Being able to run more has also helped with improving my speed. I was stuck at a 10+ minute mile for a long time, and I recently just ran my first 8 minute mile. I originally did not want to spend much on a running shoe, but I think the price is worth it in this case.

The shoe arrived earlier than expected, and it made me happy. It also looks good. Unfortunately, it gave me a blister in the internal side of the right foot, I will have to run with a plaster from today on, but overall a great shoe (as a reference, I run 7 km almost every day - external circuit - street and park). Beware and also check the Brooks website for sizes – in Amazon they were displaying the men’s size chart as the woman’s size chart. For example – for woman the UK 3.5 is 22.5 cm and for man the UK 3.0 is 22.5 cm.

I've been wanting to replace my daily walking shoes. I've tried a few other brands and they don't fit as well as Brooks. Glycerins were too expensive for how quickly I wear through them. These were a great replacement. They are comfortable, they feel stable. I wore them 3 days straight and already I felt my feet feeling better than before. I was starting to get a blister on the ball of my feet but it has now gotten better since the shoe change. Would definitely recommend these.

Toe box is wider than the 17s but its not a deal breaker, just took some getting used to. I prefer a snugger fit. My main beef with the 18s is the SQUEAK! Omg these shoes are not for ninjas, it sounds like rubber shoes on a wet floor even when walking on carpet. I will stick with Brooks because i have some bad feet/knee probs and these work great with my orthotics and dont look as orthopedic as some brands. I hope they fix that squeak for the 19s!

I was introduced to Brooks a year ago. These are my second pair. And I’m currently working on my 3rd. I love love love them. I’m a store manager consistently on my feet (flat feet) all day. I had no idea that running shoes would save my life, the way that these have. Who knew? I would recommend Brooks Addren GTS models to anyone that have flat feet, and work numerous hours on them. I am a woman of a particular age and comfort means a lot to me.
