I have been using Bourjois blushers for YEARS. Did you know that they now own Chanel? So you are getting a very high-end style product in terms of quality without the price tag. When I need a new blusher, I’ll sometimes go into Boots and have a look around, but always end up coming out with a Bourjois blusher. I just never see anything else that takes my fancy and ticks all the boxes at the same price these do.I have rated this product with 5 stars as I cannot see any downside to it.I am a low-maintenance girl and love the fact that these blushers all come with their own little brush and mirror. I get on fine with it. I know some people with more expertise will want to use their own, bigger brushes as it is meant to give a better application. However, I just like to slap on my make-up and go and this seems to do the trick fine for me. I just like the brush to be in the case when I need it. The mirror and brush also make this blusher a terrific choice for your handbag or when travelling. The colour range is superb. What a choice! Bourjois are always adding new colours and special editions to the range. Some blushers have a little sheen or glitter to them, others are more matte-looking. It is probably best to see them in-store, really, although at these prices you could also take a chance buying online. The shade I have bought this time is Rose D’Or (translation: Golden Rose) which is perfect for me. It’s a pretty shade of pink, not too deep for my pale skin, and has a subtle shimmer which stops it looking too flat. The blushers are hard-baked so they don’t crumble easily and you just get what you need coming off on the brush. I find I don’t have to tap to shake off excess product. Very economical. In summary, I am a real fan of Bourjois blushers. IMO, they are hard to beat. The packaging is almost too cute for words – that little round box, with its magnetic clasp, built-in mirror and little curved brush is just adorable. The blusher itself is high-quality and long-lasting. The colour choice is extensive. At these high-street chemist prices, you could build up a nice wardrobe of colours to ring the changes.Definitely one to try, even if you are used to higher-priced blushers.

I have long favoured Bourjois blushers, but the latest iteration is simply perfect.Packaging:The pot is sealed by magnets, making it easy to open, but harder to dislodge the lid accidentally. It is small and easily carried, and the powder is a mound shaped block, meaning that the amount of blusher supplied is generous for the pot size. But the mirror in the lid and the curved brush make it a fully stand-alone product that can be carried on its own. And the brush is the brilliant part: yes, being curved means that it fits over the mound of powder into the pot, but - more importantly, it fits over the 'apple' of the cheek, meaning that it delivers just the right amount of blusher to just the right area in a single light sweep.Product: (71)Rose AmbréThis powder is very matte, with no shimmer, resulting in a very natural effect. It is very finely milled, and hence invisible once applied. It comes in quite a hard block, so there is little to no loose powder left in the pot after use. The colour is very concentrated though, so a light touch is needed. However the brush supplied is of good quality, with a fine bristle, so a light, even application is easy.Colour: although the pot appears a tawny rose colour, and the powder looks similar, on application the tawny side of the colour is most apparent. "Amber Rose" IS a good description. It looks best on slightly olive skin. On a background of an ivory rose foundation, it looks a bit sallow, but I expect it to prove a lovely natural colour in the summer.N.B. Although "Sienne" was the colour that I was offered for review, ROSE AMBRÉ was what I received, so that is the colour that is the colour to which this review applies.

I absolutely love Bourjois products, I use their nail polish and, in my opinion, it is one of the best on the market. I was keen to try this blusher, I have used it in the past and have been very happy with it. It lasts a very long time and unlike many others on the market it never crumbles in the pot after a length of time. The brush is a perfect shape for cheeks and just the right amount of blusher is applied. The mirror in the tiny lid is really good quality. The blusher lasts all day and the rose colour really suits my pale skin. When the blusher arrived today I was disappointed as it was the wrong colour. Instead of the rose colour I have received the 41-healthy mix. This is a peach/coral to orange colour. The first thing I noticed when I opened the blusher was the lovely smell. I was transported back in time to my mother's dressing table, with smells of lily of the valley, lavender and rose. This has that classic old fashioned feminine smell. The colour is a little too heavy for my pale skin, I have tried it and think it would look lovely when a little sun has hit my skin. It gives the skin a healthy glow and as I am trying it in the middle of a cold winter, it looks a little out of place. I do think it would be a different story if the sun was shining so it will come on holiday with me in the summer. I think this colour would suit most skin colours other than very pale. In my opinion Bourjois products are high-end with a very reasonable price tag. I rate this product 5 stars even though the colour was different to what I was expecting it is really lovely. Excellent quality and excellent value for money.

This is a little pot of blusher that might be smaller than you realise by the pictures. It’s probably about half the size of your typical pot of blusher/powder. That said, the small size does not take away from the quality of the product.Firstly, the little pot is really cute and is a nice, sparkly pink colour - a colour that reflects the colour of the powder inside. I chose 95 Rose de jaspe which is a light pink with just enough depth to give my pale cheeks a little glow without overwhelming me and making me look like a clown. There is a little magnetic button to press to get the compact to open. This also gives it a secure snap closure which means it will stay closed in your make-up bag if you carry it out and about.Inside is a mirror - again small - but surprisingly clear and decent. You can definitely use it for a little touch up when you’re on the go.The blusher comes with a little curved brush which gives an ideal swipe across the cheeks and for picking up the powder which itself is slightly domed. The blusher has a comforting, almost floral, smell. It smells like I expect make-up to smell.I was honestly very surprised, when I first used this blusher, just how good it looked. It was so natural and fresh. It blended so well that you could tell I had a nice, pink glow on my cheeks but couldn’t obviously tell it was due to a blusher. I was very impressed. With that, I have to give the product 5 stars. With so little of the product needed to create a nice, natural look, I can see this lasting a while making it well worth the £6.49 (at the time of the review) price tag.

Bourjois Little Round Pot Blusher is another good product from this very popular brand. If you are acquainted with this brand you know they do sell a lot of little pots of colour which are usually eye colour or blusher. Inside the blusher pots is a small round brush which measures nearly the same breadth of the small pot lid, there is also a small but clear mirror which is fine when applying eyeshadow but regarding any other area of your face, this mirror is only suitable to see a small area at one time. The actual brush is moulded to fit around the blusher dome, therefore it fits neatly in the lid though must be fitted correctly to allow the lid to close correctly and firmly. This enclosed brush is handy for touch ups but personally, I prefer to use my usual blusher brush which has a long handle this allows me to apply my blusher properly plus the handle allows me to have better control of my chosen blusher.I do like Bourjois products and once again they have produced a first-class product which is sold at a great price, this allows me to purchase different shades plus lots of different eyeshadow colours. The quality is very good, and the colour is strong and vibrant. This colour provides a nice natural healthy glow and therefore one I am very happy to recommend.

These are tiny, discrete, compacts... Maybe far smaller than the image on Amazon belies. Small diameter, but stout looking case, opens with a golden button press, to reveal an acceptable but slightly awkward to use mirror within the lid, and an application brush. The plastic of the brush is a slight curve to match the rounded fresh ball of blusher within, but again the tiny size of everything does make this a fiddle. Working with sore fingers (arthritis in the case of my helpful female tester) was not fabulous with this, so it maybe more suitable to a younger audience. It certainly is a discrete thing, nicely put together... So the powder itself.Well, initially digging into the powder with the brush was quite difficult, the grains were compacted together quite thoroughly leaving nearly nothing to brush on. However, a little working and the surface came alive well enough, but it was noted you either got too little or far too much. Being such a small compact it was hard to find an effective way to load the brush, tap off excess and apply... You either risk getting it on clothes or your hands, the tiny size is the reason this doesn't get full marks from us.

I love this! Blusher has perhaps been one of the make-up items that I think least about, but this has really impressed me.I love the colour. Rose Éclat just gives you a nice healthy glow, and you can gradually build the colour up until you're happy with it. The colour matching on my monitor between the product page and the actual blusher wasn't great - I would describe the blusher as a dusky pink. (On the product page (for me) it looked pinker than it is).It comes in a little pot, perfect for keeping in your handbag as it came complete with a tiny brush and (tiny) mirror.(If you're considering having it in your bag I would advise securing the pot with a little bit of tape just to be on the safe side,in case the magnet gives). I do prefer to use a proper blusher brush but for an emergency touch up the little brush will come in handy. Also, it smells absolutely gorgeous. It comes in a wide range of colours from pale pink through to brown, so you should be able to find a shade that suits you.Overall - I really like it.

This review is for colour 041 as I received the wrong colour .However the product itself is very good and I’m very impressed. Usually I use very expensive make up brands like Laura mercier, Nars and Giorgio Armani for cosmetics. However this blusher definitely competes its the more expensive brands .It’s got a lovely light consistancey and blends very well . It has light colour but it a nice subtle shade that I could make more intense building up .The of is a lovely hand bag size. And easily transported. The little brush inside it isn’t great and barely does the job . However for a quick touch up you will get away with the brush but I would recommend using a good blusher brush for initialapplication. The colour 041 has more a peachy shade so doesn’t really suit my pale Pink toned skin colour but I’m going to purchase one of the rose colours .Highily recommmed , well priced and nicely milled quality blusher .

The packaging is really lovely, as the name suggests, it's a dinky little pot, but there's a tiny brush inside and a really handy mirror in the lid, great for doing makeup on the go. It smells very nice, too, quite a strong perfume scent. The little gold information leaflet inside explains the 150-year history of Bourjois' baked blushers, in French and English, and adds to the high-end look. Bourjois is mid-range, not the cheapest but not going into super-pricey territory. For us, their packaging is the nicest of all the mid-range products. The blusher itself goes on very nicely, and gives a subtle shimmery glow. On a pale-with-a-winter-tan skin it takes a couple of applications to be visible, but it makes cheeks look nice and rosy. On darker skin it might not show up much at all, or might take a few applications. Overall we really like it, it's a nice every-day blusher as it doesn't look OTT at all.

I have loved these little Bourjois compacts for years now. They are small, neat, compact and come with everything you need to use them. A small curved brush designed to fit over the curve of the make up in the lid so you are never without an applicator, a little mirror in the top of the lid so you can see what you are doing and a generous amount of the make up itself in the base of the compact. When you first use this blusher you do need to work the product a little as it is quite tightly packed but once you get through the first layer it starts to coat the brush well. The colour of this blusher is lovely. It is a nice shade of pink and it works well onto my skin. You don't need too much for it to have an effect and it does have a little sparkle which helps to brighten you face a little. The compact itself fits easily into whatever bag I want so I an have it with me all day. Love it.

Well isnt this little pot a surprise! Its a small pot of blusher, then you open the lid and blummin heck its not only got a mirror in the lid but it also includes a wide brush to apply the blusher with ! How the heck they thought they could get all of that in one tiny pot ive no idea but they managed it!The colour is quite a deep pink and i really wasnt sure at first but it goes on much lighter than it looks and gives a lovely subtle blush, and the brush actually works! The powder has a nice sweet smell nad is easy to build up for a stronger colour. The catch on the lid takes a bit of getting used to, i expect the button to be on the base and the lid pop up but the button is on the lid but its not even a button, the catch is magnetic! What a brilliant little pot, well designed and well thought out, a must have for every make up bag!

Bourjois must be one of the oldest cosmetic companies around, and still they produce good value products at a sensible price. This is no exception. The shade I have (15 Rose Eclat/Radiant Rose) is a warm pink and looks good on a mid-tone skin. It is a subtle shade but, to my surprise, lasted REALLY well. Having applied it first thing in the morning, when I went to remove my make-up late at night it looked every bit as good as when I first put it on.I think the brush, while cute, is unnecessary. I am not sure why many make-up manufacturers feel the need to include mirrors and brushes with so many single items when everyone I know has their own set of favourite brushes for blusher, powder and eye shadow. It all just adds to the unnecessary production of bits of plastic that end up in the environment, hence 4 stars, not 5.

My wife pestered me to send for this matt fresh pink blusher, I prefer a more bronzed colour for myself, no sorry, only joking. It comes in a 4.5cm diameter x 2.1cm deep round pot which has a magnetic catch to keep it closed and a little push button to aid opening.Inside is 2.5g of blusher powder. a small mirror in the lid and a shaped application brush which reminded me of a large eyelid complete with resplendent lashes. My wife liked the colour, she commented on how silky the powder felt and that ie was easy to apply although she did prefer her normal blusher brush to the supplied. She did say that the included brush felt a little 'scratchy' and when I rubbed my fingers around it there were definitely some sharpish edges on it.However, the product itself is fine and she's looking forward to using it.

Several things surprised me about this cute little pot of blusher;firstly, the lovely rose fragarance;I hadn't come across scented blusher before.Second, the colour;I chose Cendre de Rose Brune, and when it arrived it looked like it would be too light, but when I applied it it was the perfect shade for me,a fresh matte pink that gives me a healthy natural glow.Thirdly, the price;I hadn't used Bourjois before and imagined it would be expensive, but it's actually very reasonable.Fourth;although the pot seems small, the space has been used so cleverly that, when you open it,you are faced with a sweet smelling dome of blusher,a small curved brush, and even a mirror in the lid! This is so handy to pop in my bag, smells great, the brush blends the blush perfectly, the price is right;I've found the perfect blush!

These Bourgois blusher pots last for absolutely ages and are therefore great value. They come with a tiny curved brush which I personally have never used for blusher as it is so small. The blusher is not packed flat like most blushers but in a rounded dome shape. This one - Lilas D'Or is actually very pink - much pinker than I remember it being the last time I bought it about 5 years ago. It has tiny particles of gold colour in it so that the colour on the cheek is not flat and matte but highlighted. It is a bit perfumed but I've never had a skin reaction. The lid on the one I received did not catch properly and stay closed,so annoyingly it opened in my make up bag - not a problem when new but when the powder becomes looser over time this may be a problem if I decide to travel with it.
