Bourjois Contour Clubbing Eyeliner is a soft pencil that has been enriched with Jojoba and Cotton oils. It comes in a variety of colours and I received the colour 'Purple Night 47' for reviewing purposes.This eyeliner is shaped like a pencil and includes a lid. The eyeshadow has a lovely creamy texture and glides on incredibly smoothly and gives an excellent coverage. I found that hardly any pressure was needed to give a lovely dense colour which means it doesn't drag on your skin like some other pencils do.Once the eyeliner is on it can be easily smudged using either a sponge or a finger and the effect is superb, however this does have to be done straight away as once it dries it is almost impossible to smudge at all,

How much you like this eye pencil depends on what you want from it, if you want a highly pigmented crisp line that doesn't budge even for blending then this won't do, try a gel pencil (Stila and Ardell do good gel pencils) if you want something to darken at the lashline giving the illusion of longer lashes and perhaps tight line (but being aware it will imprint on the waterline) that can do double duty to smoke out if necessary then this is a good choice.I usually use a gel pencil as I prefer the control and durability, but this was a pleasant hanged for a minimal makeup look, a brightening pencil on the lids,

I have very sensitive eyes and many eyeliners aggravate them--even those described as being perfect for sore eyes. This Bourjois Khol pencil is wonderful! No redness or weeping even in the hay fever season. It is a soft crayon, not a gel, and this gives a softer effect which I like. It is easy to apply with no dragging, and the line is smooth and even with just one application.Although it is not described as waterproof, it stays on (me) all day with no smudging or running but is not difficult to remove --just use normal facial wash or soap.I compared this with a budget Khol pencil and a luxury one and this was easily my favourite. I really like this eyeliner as it is bold whilst being gentle to your eyes. The 'clubbing' effect is a very subtle addition of glitter, just a few flecks nothing more, so you can easily use it during the day. The colour is a dark and rich black and it does stay on for several hours without shifting. The best thing about this eyeliner is the smoothness of it, it glides across your eyes like velvet and you can barely feel it, good for eye comfort but bad for messing it up. As it is so soft, it is at this stage that you can smudge the liner and transfer it to your waterline, great if that is your intention. The pencil itself is quite thick, as is the liner,

A really nice eyeliner pencil to use, but unlike a lot of other makes you still need a pencil sharpener for keeping the end of it not too blunt. Easy to apply and no scratchy or dragging feeling when applying it. Some cheaper make ones do tend to aggregate my eyes when using. Took me a few goes before we no had “pandagate”. Ease of removal came away easily with baby oil, one thing I did notice though was with the weather being humid I did get a slight shadow of colouring under eye. Might be as I applied it a bit heavy handed or just the weather and any make would be effected. Four stars due to fact if going away and taking this then would have to remember sharpener,

I'm reviewing the Bourjois Contour Clubbing Eyeliner, Purple Night #47. Here are my thoughts:^^ This soft pencil eyeliner is a strongly pigmented bright purple colour, so it really stands out. It can be used on either upper or lower lash line to accentuate the eyes. This colour works well with a few eye colours, especially green and hazel.^^ What's more, it's also waterproof and smudge proof, so it makes it ideal for hot and steamy dancing nights.^^ It's enriched with jojoba and cotton oils for an easy application, so it glides on smoothly and easily.Overall: I love this "Purple Night" colour. It's a bright colour, looks nice on, and stays on well.

This Kohl & Contour Liner from Bourjois is a traditional pencil style that needs regular sharpening like a normal pencil to keep it pointed. My wife likes the colour and the ease of use and finds it does last well once applied properly. Bourjois is a French cosmetics company with over 150 years of make-up expertise and a Parisian theatre heritage – it is now part of the American Coty group. This Bourjois kohl pencil is a good product from a large range of related items currently available from Amazon and this is a brand well worth checking out further. At just under seven pounds currently from Amazon this is a good quality product that represents decent value for money.

I think it's quite tricky to get the right khol pencil. Quite often I find they are too hard which means it doesn't quite go on properly with staying power, or too soft so you get the smokey look but it tends to melt, and starts giving you unwanted smudges around the eye. This Boujour khol pencil is actually really really good. It goes on really easily and smoothly and feels soft and gives a really good dark definition around the eyes, best of all it stays on all day without me having to reapply.This is my new favourite, pencil and I would absolutely definitely buy this again.Love it!

As a prime customer I always have either my mother or partner asking me to buy things with one day delivery. With this particular item my partner (who is female, I am male) asked me to get this. Forgetting she ordered it the parcel arrived in my name so as normal I opened it to find this eyeliner in the box, as she wasn't in I thought "why not, lets give this a go". Turns out it really suited me and I reminded myself of the lead singer from the cure, occasionally when she isn't in I will put a bit on and dance around to "love cats". Well worth the buy!

My wife gives her full approval to this kohl eyeliner pencil. Having tired various others from the propeller pencil type where the tip often breaks off, to the cheap ones with a hard finish, this one is perfect. It's a standard pencil so you do have to sharpen it to keep a fine point, but it's not too soft so it doesn't blunt quickly, nor too hard so that it drags on 'older' skin. It gives a nice clear line which stays put for hours without smudging. Perfect for every day use. It is a little pricey but the quality is good so that's not a problem.

Thought id give this a go as it looked like the colour i was looking for but sometimes the colour in the pictures of items can be rather decieving so was a bit dubious but much to my delight the colour was perfect and just like it looks in the picture.I have tried many blue eyeliner pencils but this beats the rest by a long way and goes on so easily and smoothly,looks great.Would certainly recommend this eye pencil and i will certainly be buying it again.Overall very pleased.

This is a lovely eyeliner. It goes on very smoothly as it's very soft. Sometimes being soft means that it's very difficult to sharpen, but I've had no issue in that regard here. The colour lasts very well but note that it does tend to soften into a smudgier line as the day goes on... personally I like this but some may prefer to keep a sharp definition.The liner is easy to remove at the end of the day.I would recommend this eye pencil and would definitely buy it.

This is a fine pencil, it draws delicate lines around the eyes giving them a subtle look rather than the smudged smoky eye, or the full on Cleopatra , both looks I love , but there are times less is more . This is perfect for the everyday look. It stays in place , does not smudge to give me the appearance of a panda. Bourjois is a very good brand and once again they have come out tops with this eye pencil.

Feedback from the female members of the household is that this is a good reliable eyeliner – for everyday use as well as for nights out.It is easy to apply, nice and creamy, good defined line and stays fixed even after a heavy gym work out. The glitter is subtle.Like all soft eyeliner pencils is it not straightforward to sharpen, but it did sharpen well using the trick of freezing it first.

This is a nice eyeliner, didn't cause any sensitivity & very well pigmented. Soft enough to not drag the skin, whilst being firm enough to not mush everywhere. Sadly me & eyeliner just don't get on very well. I really want sexy "cat eye" eyeliner & this does a good job, but it just looks awful on me! Have given it to my daughter who looks stunning with "cat eyes" & she's very pleased with it.
