How much you like this eye pencil depends on what you want from it, if you want a highly pigmented crisp line that doesn't budge even for blending then this won't do, try a gel pencil (Stila and Ardell do good gel pencils) if you want something to darken at the lashline giving the illusion of longer lashes and perhaps tight line (but being aware it will imprint on the waterline) that can do double duty to smoke out if necessary then this is a good choice.I usually use a gel pencil as I prefer the control and durability, but this was a pleasant hanged for a minimal makeup look, a brightening pencil on the lids,

As a prime customer I always have either my mother or partner asking me to buy things with one day delivery. With this particular item my partner (who is female, I am male) asked me to get this. Forgetting she ordered it the parcel arrived in my name so as normal I opened it to find this eyeliner in the box, as she wasn't in I thought "why not, lets give this a go". Turns out it really suited me and I reminded myself of the lead singer from the cure, occasionally when she isn't in I will put a bit on and dance around to "love cats". Well worth the buy!

My wife gives her full approval to this kohl eyeliner pencil. Having tired various others from the propeller pencil type where the tip often breaks off, to the cheap ones with a hard finish, this one is perfect. It's a standard pencil so you do have to sharpen it to keep a fine point, but it's not too soft so it doesn't blunt quickly, nor too hard so that it drags on 'older' skin. It gives a nice clear line which stays put for hours without smudging. Perfect for every day use. It is a little pricey but the quality is good so that's not a problem.

This is a lovely eyeliner. It goes on very smoothly as it's very soft. Sometimes being soft means that it's very difficult to sharpen, but I've had no issue in that regard here. The colour lasts very well but note that it does tend to soften into a smudgier line as the day goes on... personally I like this but some may prefer to keep a sharp definition.The liner is easy to remove at the end of the day.I would recommend this eye pencil and would definitely buy it.

This is a fine pencil, it draws delicate lines around the eyes giving them a subtle look rather than the smudged smoky eye, or the full on Cleopatra , both looks I love , but there are times less is more . This is perfect for the everyday look. It stays in place , does not smudge to give me the appearance of a panda. Bourjois is a very good brand and once again they have come out tops with this eye pencil.

A pencil eye liner that is one of the first I have used not to cause an allergic reaction. Hooorah!I'm so used to trying various brands and flinging them in the bin after a night of looking like I've been peeling a sack of onions. So thank you for sending me this simple pencil that went on easily, stayed on with sliding / streaming off and yes - no reaction either.Highly recommended

Easy to use and apply - if you have a steady hand. It's a slim pencil that with a little maintenence can give a precise line. I found that it lasted well, but in a hot, humid environment the fine edging I achieved started to blur, I haven't been out in wet weather, but I am guessing it is likely to run. That being said, it is a good eyeliner and I have had some nice results with it.

This is a decent black liner pencil (you’ll need to sharpen occasionally). It has good staying power and can easily last throughout the working day for me. It’s maybe not the easiest to get off but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I prefer using liquid pens more myself but for a pencil it’s pretty good and at well under a tenner decent value for money.

Ultra black is an accurate name as it is a very dark colour. It is very soft so little pressure is needed when applying and it can be easily smudged during application if you want that look. As it is soft it becomes blunt quickly so needs to be sharpened regularly to maintain a clear line. Once applied it last well.

A very standard kohl pencil. but a perfectly good one, a true deep black. Goes on nicely without dragging the skin, removes easily with oil and water based eye make up remover.Stayed in place through the day, didn't flake or give panda eyes.Has the reassurance of a quality brand name, with nothing to dislike.

A decent all-purpose, khol pencil. It works as a simple liner, or for smudging and goes on easily, without dragging. It stays on ok - depending on conditions and your skin type, you may need a little tidy up in the day. This is a traditional pencil, which will require sharpening to keep the point.

I ordered this to replace a previous Bourjois kohl pencil which I bought years ago. The product seems unchanged which I’m pleased about as it’s very good. The colour is a nice soft brown, it goes on easily and stays on much better than the more expensive brands I’ve tried over the years.

I have used different brands and different shades of eyebrow pencil. This is excellent for me as I have brown-black asian hair and this brand is the best as it stays all day/night and not difficult to remove when you wash your face. I always get praised that it looks natural and real.

Usually a big fan of Bourjois but this one fell short for me. Soft and easy to apply but not very highly pigmented and a bit wish washy for my liking. I prefer a more striking liner effect but this might really suit someone who prefers a more subtle look.Good staying power though.

This is a nice, traditional black kohl pencil. It's soft, and applies easily without pulling/dragging at the eye area. The colour is strong. Doesn't really smudge - so not the pencil for more blurry/smoky looks - but rather creates nice, clear lines and contours that last well.
