This was a replacement for a corded version of the same product, which we had for over 6 years. This one is very lightweight in comparison and easy to maneuver. It's only be used for a quick trim, so I can't speak to how long the battery will last when I need to do a larger cut back. Definitely recommend it.

sorry my mistake the description I saw didn't say no battery but bare tool, I didn't know what bare tool was, so was disappointed when I was unable to use it. I didn't want to cause offence.
