Excellent hedge cutter, makes short work of cutting overgrown hedging.Very pleased with this product, it is lightweight, easy to handle and slices through all kinds of hedging with no problem at all. I have previously purchased the Einhell drill and reciprocating saw (fabulous for rapid cutting through thick wood) which I have been using to build raised beds on my allotment plot, so I already had the 3.0ah battery and the battery charger, so didn't need to pay extra for these. Note: if you don't have these products already you are looking at another £70-80ish, but in my opinion well worth it, particularly if you are going to buy other equipment in future, and I have been very impressed with Einhell products so far.

My petrol hedge cutter was heavy and difficult to start so I ended up buying this cordless one by Einhell. I already had the batteries and charger so it wasn't too expensive. I wasn't expecting too much but was very pleasantly surprised. So far it has gone through chunky brambles and a mixed hedge of hawthorn and creeper very easily. I got around 25 mins of cutting from a 1.5 Ah battery, which makes it very light to use especially above shoulder height. It seems to cope with cutting anything that will fit within the teeth as long as you don't force it and give it time to make the cuts. Anything bigger and you can simply make a quick initial pass with a chainsaw.

Delighted with this product, so light and easy to use and I love the fact it has no wires to get tangled up with or trip over! It is extremely quiet and the battery life is excellent too, I trimmed my large hedge without having to recharge the batteries and there is still charge left in them. It has a long cutting blade in comparison to my old hedge trimmer so it is making the job even quicker. I have other battery operated Einhell products and would highly recommend them.

My previous trimmer was corded, or it was until I accidentally cut through it. I had bought a cordless Einhell leaf blower together with battery and charger (in an Amazon deal-of-the-day offer) a year ago so I tried the sub-£50 trimmer minus battery and it has been excellent. It is light, easy to use and the battery life has been plenty for clipping various jobs around the garden. My only regret is that I didn't buy one before I thankfully cut the cable of my old trimmer.

Bigger than i thought. Lightweight. Super handy as a portable/cordless. Very impressed, this is 2 of 3 Einhell products for me, they may seem a bit cheaply made but i have found them all really good (for light domestic work), and i like the bright red. I've been using them off one 2mAh battery, so far the battery is as good as my Bosch professional 18V ones (on my Bosch tools that is, they're not compatible).Oh, and it comes with a sturdy blade cover.

Bought as a package with two other Einhell products. Note: you have to buy the 1.5A battery (another £40) as this cutter does not take the same batteries as the other products, making it quite expensive. The good news is that it performs really well. It is light weight, well balanced, and makes short work of hedges and even tough bramble branches. Good product.

Fantastic bit of kit. Spent a while looking through a few similar systems but decided to invest in Einhell. Not disappointed. Certainly as powerful as any mains powered one I’ve used and not any heavier. Well made and seems pretty robust so far. I am a gardener for a living and this is a great addition to my growing arsenal of tools.

...Einhell quality at it's best, I own the impact driver, hammer-drill/drill, garden strimmer and hopefully the lawn mower next payday. Sick and tired of cables/extensions etc.?, this range of top quality tools are what you need

Bought this to trim several bushes and a conifer trees. Does it all with such ease. Very happy with the product. Item was delivered damaged though but customer support was outstanding and issue was resolved extremely swiftly

For someone like me who has no idea how to use such tools it's brilliant easy to use, 2 trigger safety is a nice touch, I've been cutting away 2-3 feet deep ivy straight out of box an it has made short work of it

Great for those higher hedges the unit works well it is quite a heavy unit so can be tiring to use for extended oeriods
