How have I lived without this fantastic tool for so long!Out of the box and charged to full in around 2-3 hours, then I thought I would have a little test, and ended up staying outside, creating piles of hedge and shrub cuttings all around the garden. I was a bit worried as it didn't "sound" that strong, but oh-boy does it cut Woohooo! I have a full 14ft hedge that I have to have professionally cut, and this tool was taking the sides and edges down with no effort at all. It was so easy to hold up high and the only thing that stopped me going was my diminutive height heheIt made short work of tidying up a low level shrubby bush that grows up under my study window and is always a pain to keep

So pleased with the quality & ease of using this grass/hedge shear. My second day of using my new Worx WG801E 20V, it made trimming the edge of our lawn a pleasure. The larger of the two hedge shears, made light work of trimming a small shrub in our border. The battery life is amazing, the tool very well balanced when in the hand, shear change is quick & easy & it looks nice. The battery power remaining indicator is a nice feature. Press a button & it will show 1,2 or 3 lights to show remaining power. With two lights still showing after trimming around our 30ft square lawn, i put it on charge while having a cuppa. 10 minutes later it was showing a full charge, ready to tackle our front lawn.

Very impressed with this. I have had it for nearly 2 months and have used both the grass and hedge trimming attachments. Despite frequent use over that time the battery still registers more than half full.The hedge trimmer is suitable for light trimming of new growth and can be used one handed with ease. It is great for those new shoots that grow longer than others. I have been using it on a holly hedge with no problems at all.The blade covers are of excellent quality and most of the device exudes similar high quality. I am a little concerned about the plastic base that needs to be removed to change the cutting devices, it is perhaps too flimsy, but time will tell.

I have tried out all three of the attachments and , although a little on the slow side, they do what they are intended to do. Just don't expect Stihl-like power and speed from the 20 Volt, 2 Amp/hour battery. It's obviously not going to chop through thick woody branches on your prize shrub, but it is fine for green, new growth, and the grass attachment works well. The unit is quite well built; the battery charged up as per book and was still showing a full charge after an hour of trying out all attachments. When changing attachments, as the 'drive' spigot has been greased, you need to make sure that it is clean of dirt and debris before fitting another.

I've got a few Worx battery operated tools which are great so thought I'd give this a try. I can say this great for doing edges of a reasonably sized garden and the battery lasts more than enough. It's actually very powerful as well. The hedge trimmer bit is ok but only good for the thinner bits as you might expect. All in all a good tool and very handy. The only fiddle bit is changing the cutters and it would have been good if it came with a case or something to keep it all together.

I have been using this Worx tool for a few weeks now. The Grass Trimmer is very useful for thinning out shrubs as well as grass trimming. The hedge trimmers work well so far for small diameter branches. Also used it to clear a path through tall grass, nettles and weeds to put in an electric fence for a horse field. The battery lasts well and the build quality is very good like other Worx tools. I have also drills and and a screwdriver by Worx and all work really well.

I'm really impressed with the Worx range of cordless tools. This garden trimmer is a delight to use and so beautifully made. With three cutting options it's perfect for the more delicate trimming jobs where a full size hedge trimmer would be unwieldy. The smallest trimmer is great for getting to small areas of grass that the mower and strimmer can't access. And of course the power share share means money is saved in buying 'bare' Worx tools.

The tool is well balanced, easy to hold and use, the battery also lasts a long time. Muscles in my arms became tired before the battery tired! I have learned to cut hedges and now want to try topiary on my yew bushes! The grass growing round posts has now been easily cut away with the grass tool. I make a point of keeping my other hand out of the way to avoid any accidents! As an OAP I am well pleased with this purchase.

I bought this because I was looking for a lightweight cordless hedge trimmer to use for quick jobs to avoid having to get the mains one out (excellent but large and heavy) and one which uses a battery I already have. Whilst it won't go through really thick stuff (I didn't expect it to) it's great for general lightweight trimming. As it's so easy to use, I don't tend to put off trimming the hedges anymore!

As a proffesional gardener this is one of those tools I have been waiting for to give shrubs and bushes a quick tidy up when the hedge trimmer is not really needed and to do more delicate work such as topiary.Based on the limited use I have given it I am well impressed with its power with one resservation that it may be tiring to use because of the position of the lock off button.

This is a great versatile product and very easy to use. It's lightweight and I easily managed it using one hand. It is battery operated so you can reach the far ends of even the largest garden and also means no electric cable to accidentally cut! It's quick and trouble free to change the blades for various jobs. I'm very pleased with this product and can highly recommend it.

Have other Worx tools so adding this made sense to keep the same battery. Have a pole trimmer but needed something smaller for hedges and bushes we have. This is great and battery life is excellent so can easily do the whole garden which takes about 30 minutes, used it twice so far and still charge left. Weight is good as is the balance and can be used one handed easily

This is the most powerful one-hand-operated, cordless, electric tool of its kind. The shrub cutter attachments are quite good- though not so effective as a dedicated two-hand operated hedge trimmer. However, the grass trimmer attachment is the best I've ever used. The method of changing cutters is very positive & straightforward. Another excellent cordless tool by Worx!

I have about a dozen shrubs in my modest garden so this tool is ideal for my needs. Very light and easy to use. The blades can be changed very easily and are very sharp. The battery life is good too, I don't know how long it will run between charges because it has not run out when I have been using it (usually 30 mins use). I am very pleased I got this tool.

In the past I have used strimmers or tried to use lawn mowers to trim the border edges of the lawns which have roses lavender etc one or two usually ended up with damage...not any longer with this brilliant piece of kit just create a grass margin so the mower can stay well away from the border plants... “VERY SHARP” please keep away from any children.
