when i used this machine for the first time on my hedges i realized none of the other options would have reached. This trimmer has a long blade (610) and a cleverly designed handle arrangement that gives the option of holding it further out easily and safely. The trimmer is also more powerful than many and easily dealt with thicker stems.Seems to be well put together.Checking online showed Argos to have a better deal than the major garden/diy stores.

I was not surprised to see how good the Flymo Hedge Trimmer was, I have other Flymo equipment and they are all easy to use and their design is always great.This hedge trimmer has dual power positions so if you want have a hard to reach place you can grab the handle from the back and power it on, this will give you the ability to reach further.The power cable is long enough and very robust, easy to cut thick branches with ease. Excellent purchase.

Bought this as my old Flymo hedgecutter was knackered through use - too much large hedge. This new model is much easier to use being lighter and does cut much more cleanly. I think the blades are diamond cut but definitely superior to any hedgecutter I've used before. Has good ability for larger branches and a long reach so is perfect for me. Very reasonable price too.

So pleased with my purchase, as it was on my Argos wish list for some time. Great offer price, so had to buy it! Works like a dream, perfect for cutting neighbours conifer hedge that creeps over onto my boundary. The extra handle length is an added bonus on this model for the higher bits to top off. Not too heavy either. Happy Days.

Quality I hoped for from Flymo. Cuts very well. Easy to use - the only reason for dropping one star on design is that the "extended handle" option takes some getting used to controlling the trimmer, but does work well once mastered. Otherwise, very easy to use and solidly built without being too heavy.

Great tool apart from a minor(fixed it myself) design detail. The wire connection to the tool is in a strange place, underneath the handle, meaning it is closer to the cutters than it need be and is easily cut. After I had repaired mine I taped the wire to the back of the handle - now it's much better.

I bought this Flymo hedge trimmer to replace a petrol one which has become too heavy for me, the Flymo is a lot easier to use and I can use it one handed to reach across a very wide hedge which I couldn't with the heavier petrol one. I'm very happy with my trimmer and would recommend to my friends.

After cutting 8ft of my 95ft hedge my old trimmer disintegrated, after a quick check on Google our local Argos had a new one which I ordered via click and collect. Went straight to the shop and collected it and came home. Finished the hedge in record time and looked great.

With heathy summer growth of our hedge, we needed a hedge trimmer with the power and cutting blade width to tackle this head on. The Flymo easicut 610xT has done well and, when the weather gets better I only have a small amount to complete the job.

The Flymo hedge trimmer is excellent value for money. The 500 watt power makes it more powerful than some of its rival. However, for me, the ergonomically designed shape makes using the trimmer so much easier than others I have owned and used

This is an excellent machine , cuts through hedges quickly and cleanly . Easy to stretch upwards to taller branches . It was a much cheaper option to the Bosch equivalent , we are very happy with our purchase .

For the last two years I have bought cheap cutters and is has shown...With the longer blade and obviously better quality of this product it shows that spending just a little more you get back alot more....

The trimmer seems to be well designed and easy to use. Cuts my hedges with ease. Noise is OK too. I thought the long reach 2nd handle might be gimmick but it's actually very useful.

A hedge trimmer that trims hedges. What more could you ask for? Not very good at washing dishes though. Not recommended for haircuts, but still very good at trimming hedges.

We managed to cut our overgrown hedge back in a fraction of the time it takes with shears. This seems to be an efficient easy to use piece of equipment. Pleased so far.
