I have 3 x 6 foot privet hedges and another large hedge also.The blade length means you can create a straight smart cut easily a few strokes and it`s done ! Quicker and easier ! It is a little heavy I am 6 3" well built and my arms ached for days after.The position of the double switch is a little annoying when you are cutting above head height but I still managed it OK.very quiet well made trimmer.Well worth it trust me certainly makes hedge cutting less of a chore.

My old (non Bosch) 45cm corded hedge trimmer had failed and was inadequate for my overgrown, widened privet hedge. The longer 60cm blade was more than adequate for the job. Note that some bits of the privet were between 1.5-2.0cm in diameter and the trimmer understandably struggled, so I resorted to loppers - which I think is fair enough. Anyway. I think the trimmers pretty much do what it says on the tin (box) and I'm happy with them (and my conquered hedge!)

This trimmer was bought to replace a Spear & Jackson which had expired. My previous Bosch lasted 10 years so back for another.This model gives a really short trim to my various hedges and has a good length blade. Weight is reasonable too.The only negative is that it has two safety cut outs that have to be depressed all the time during operation. This is tiring on your hands and makes some cutting angles awkward. Worth it for the quality of trim though.

Bought this as something fell on my old one & smashed it in my shed. So needed a replacement fast so the hedges could get their bi-annual trim. Was looking for something not too heavy, but affordable. This Bosch one seemed to fit the bill, I am sure it would struggle with anything heavy duty or thick, but this was used to literally trim off all the excess. Cord is fairly long, bright red, so you can see it. All in all pleased with my purchase.

Hi bought the Bosch hedge cutter as couldn’t get someone to cut the hedge for 4 weeks. Decided to try it myself . key thing for me was weight ! At 53 I don’t quite have the strength. This model did not fail, weight Is perfect for me and on first use I was more than able to complete my front hedge which is approx 60m ,very happy and would recommend to any female willing to give it a go. My only criticism is the protective sleeve.Price great.

We purchased this as a replacement for some that we'd had for 10 years and so far they're proving to be just what we wanted. I woudn't say that they were particularly light weight though, not in comparrison to the others we had which had longer blades. In all though, I recommend these cutters. They're very easy to use and the protective blade cover is excellent, not only protecting the blades but also the lead when stored in the box.

A good quality product at a reasonable price. Light-weight especially compared with others which makes a difference if you are using it for several hours. 16mm gap limits the branch size you can cut through but perhaps that is good as my last hedge trimmer died after getting jammed on thick branches. I use a saw to take out very thick branches and then this hedge trimmer does an excellent job quickly and efficiently

This is a very light hedge trimmer which I bought to trim conifers. It performed the job quickly & easily, & is very light to carry up & down ladders. The cutting blade is quite long so I was able to reach the branches at the back of the tree's which were overhanging neighbours gardens with ease. A good strong hedge trimmer which I would highly recommend. The quality is what I would expect from a Bosch product.

Good quality hedge clipper with very sharp blades. light weight for the size of blade. 60 cm is necessary if you have a tall or long hedge. I am finding it a bit awkward to hold in both switch handles at the same time at some angles as they have to be fully depressed to operate. May just be a getting used to problem as my previous Black & Decker seemed to be easier to operate. Only reason for not scoring 5.

Something of a 'distress' purchase, as my old trimmer had 'blown up', and I needed a new one asap. This one was available, and looked the part reach/size wise, and was in the price range I was prepared to pay. It has proved light, durable, effective, and makes easy work of the hedges I've had to cut. Only time will tell if it lasts the 2+1 year guarantee that came with it. I do hope so.

I’ve never used a hedge trimmer before so I was a little scared of using it at first but when I did it was good. I found it a little heavy to use but only after holding it for a while so I had to keep taking brakes. It cuts through the leaves fine but if you want to cut through a bit of branches it does struggle a bit.Overall I would recommend it though.

This is a lightweight machine with a powerful cu its extra length of cutting blades makes for reaching across deep hedges easy and it scythes through hedging with ease.Good safety features to maintain both hands on the machine so its safe for adults to use with care.Overall I am impressed with how good this electric hedge trimmer is for the money.

Bought this as a replacement for our old hedge trimmer, which we'd had for many years. This Bosch hedge trimmer is more powerful then our old one and we shaped our hedges in now time, its also quieter, but that could be due too the age of our old one. I don't normally pay as much for these certain products. But the extra cost is well worth it.

My previous hedge trimmer was at least 20 years old and hence my decision to replace it with the Bosch which appeared to be exactly what I was after. My 4 year old grandson was watching,from a safe distance when I first used it and reported to my wife that my first words were " Wow! This is magic!" I believe that says it all.

Brilliant Bosch corded hedge trimmer. Slight problem - trigger a bit hard to hold in constantly but cut through the hedge like butter. Light easy to handle machine. Works really well both vertically and horizontally. Cuts very well on the vertical upstroke. Super length blades - no need to stretch. Excellent machine.
