This is my first hedge trimmer and I am really pleased with it.Being 5 foot nothing it is just right as it has a long cutting blade and is very light to use.The handle seems just in the right place and you can hold it at different angles.It is also safe as it does not work unless you are pressing two different things.It was a bit inconvenient to have to buy the battery and charger separate but I can understand why, as most people probably already have something that will fit. But if you do need to buy them, that of course pushes the price up.

As a gardener I need a short reach cutter for topiary work and low level trimming which this unit is perfect for, its tough, robust and good on battery life, in fact this is the 3rd one ive had, so I would recommend the AHS 55-20Li to anyone

I had my doubts before buying this but it eats through my very large hedge on 1 battery. I've now used it 3 times and it's so much better than my old corded trimmer.
