I have looked at a variety of this type of saw and concluded that this was worth a shot. It feels solid when you pick it up and the grip is good with gloved hands and sweaty hands as well. The blade change is very simple, instructions are somewhat vague but I got there in the end. The box is strong enough to with stand the riggers of being in the back of the van. Now the down sides, the blade holder on mine needs to be tightened but the Allen screws are very hard to adjust and this was necessary as the large blade fell out whilst in use. The blade shakes at high speed prior to touching the piece to be cut. To operate a button on the side of the trigger needs to be pressed at the same time as the trigger,

Bought this because I an useless with a had saw ... it is a little heavy and can be awkward to get into the right position to cut off a branch/bush ... but once you do it cuts well ... I have not tried it on metal as I bought it to help me cut back the hedges and undergrowth that have grown out of hand ... the only thing I find annoying is the branch clamp ... you have to remove the blade each time you want to use it on a thicker branch ... I am sure a slide and lock system could have been designed to get over thisOverall I am very happy with it

As has been mentioned in other reviews it’s a very well made saw & great for quick cutting of all wood from the garden. Due to its size (bulk) it’s not precise or easy to use as a standard electric Jigsaw but if you’ve got a lot of thick wood to cut, that your Jigsaw might struggle with, it’s worth getting this one out of the shed or garage. Easy selection for the correct blade angle for most materials & it all comes in a useful & strong plastic case to also keep your spare blades in. A Good value saw

Haven't used yet but looks meatier than my old one. That lasted well despite extreme cutting situations inc. tree roots. Looking forward to needing to use it.Take care......it's a big powerful saw.

This is my second Scorpion - I wore the first one out over a number of years. It makes sawing fast and accurate and this model has improved features over the old one.
