Please take note this is the 110 v version and is meant for people with access to a 110 v outlet (ie on building sites). For general home use you need the 240v version.When my old c1988 green bosch died recently, I decided to take the plunge and go for this expensive pro model. I have to say I cannot believe the difference in quality, this slices through wood like butter. Whereas before I used to have to put pressure on (leading to a sore hand during long tasks) and it took a fair portion of time to slice through anything an inch thick, this simply glides straight through without any pressure needed.And for tougher tasks, you can also apply a "pendulum action" (4 settings) to help even more.

I have to say I cannot believe the difference in quality, this slices through wood like butter. Whereas before I used to have to put pressure on (leading to a sore hand during long tasks) and it took a fair portion of time to slice through anything an inch thick, this simply glides straight through without any pressure needed.And for tougher tasks, you can also apply a "pendulum action" (4 settings) to help even more. Add to that, the ease of changing blades (a simply push of a switch put the blade in then release it--I used to have to screw them into my old one with an allen key!); the variable speed setting (for fine to coarse cuts)

Having read a lot of reviews for jigsaws, I bought this to replace my trusted and old Black and Decker pro saw which has given me years of reliable service.The first thing I notice about the Bosch, is the sturdiness and build quality, which is excellent.The blade change is super quick and easy. The tool only comes with one blade (T144DP), but this gave a great cut the first time I used it, in sawn timber and then 40 thick kitchen worktop, there was very little damage to the top surface, was super quick to cut and something that the black and decker failed on, an almost perfect 90º square cut, which was something of a bugbear of mine with the B & D one.So far and I've only had it one day,

This is a really good quality Jig Saw with plenty of power and is easy to use. Good dust extraction with a forward blower to provide clear visibility of pre marked guide lines. Designed well to enable a snug fit when handling. Insertion/removal of blades is simple with minimal effort as the inserted blade is ejected from the machine. Plenty of cable is provided to allow flexibility when in use. One general purpose blade is provided with this tool, would be nice of a small selection were to be provided with the tool. However, this is a very small niggle. This is a professional quality tool from the customary quality build Bosch stable. I strongly recommend this tool.

I have been searching for a good quality jigsaw for some time my last Bosch jigsaw suffered from the attack of the rats when it was stored in my workshop one chewed right through the outer casing rendering it completely useless.This new one is a whole new ball game very well made nice weight to it dose not jump about when your cutting thiner materials and the blade dose not waver when cutting thicker materials all in all a top of the tree product.

Bought this and immediate reaction was positive. A very good quality item. However, I was very disappointed when I only got 1no. saw-blade. I at the very least expected 1no. of each kind. Got a tape measure I don't need instead.Furthermore, the clear plastic guide piece which fits at the front of the blade, was damaged by the blade when it came off it's track, rendering it useless. So, I need to purchase spares already after one cut.

Great jigsaw, I got this to replace a 30+ year old Bosch that had seen it's last saw! Remember that this doesn't plug into a wall socket for those that might miss the 110v detail. You need a transformer to use it. But I certainly recommend this item.ps. I havn't tried the 240v version but i'm sure it is the same product

Very stable powerful and accurate jig sawReplaced 20 year old Bosch jug saw or similar rangeThe new version is well builtOnly draw back is the blade blower is quite ineffectual compared to my old Bosch which always cleared the arisings, small in the greater scheme of things but nonetheless an irritation

Bought this to replace an older model which had finally given up the ghost after many years of hard usage. Still top Bosch engineering. Worth paying that bit more for a professional tool.

Very pleased with this jigsaw maybe a bit heavy for a woman to use cuts ok should last for years & very easy to change blads its got 6 speedSettings a dust setting & 3 blad settings

Always bought DIY versions, replacing my tools after years of use.Pro jigsaw my god what a superb piece of kit, I can really feel the difference in quality

Very high quality and accurate tool, not a tradesman but used for the odd job. Hopefully will provide many years of service that I expect of Bosch.

GOOD BIT OF KIT PITY NO GUIDE WITH IT BUT ITS CHEAP TO BUY. THIS IS MY SECOND ONE THE OTHER ONE FELL A GREAT HEIGHT
