This is a good running shoe. I’ve been using the Gel Cumulus for several years now, upgrading as and when new models appear. I have a pretty neutral gait/step and these have been fine (I’ve had ITB (knee) issues in the past but never with ASICS).In all honesty I didn’t know these were gore-tex when I bought them. It hasn’t made a huge difference but I find it pointless and a bit noisy (sounds like I’m wearing carrier bag socks when I walk - I exaggerate... a bit). In my view, if it’s wet enough for gore-tex, it’ll seep in over the top of the shoe at some point. It’d rather let the breeze in through the fabric and have cooler feet - personal preference.In all a great all-rounder.

They are good shoes, asics does not disappoint and with this model it is not for less ... they are a little more rigid than the version are GoreTex, but in return these are more stable. If you weigh a lot as I will thank you. If you want something very light so you don't notice your foot, don't buy these shoes. Good grip and cushioning. Tip, I bought a 45, and they really are a bit smaller without losing a number, but if you're just the right size, buy one more number.

Been wearing Asics Cumulus for several years and have always been happy with them. However this is the first pair of gore-tex Cumulus's I've had and I can't believe how noisy the gore-tex is when you're just walking about in them. Almost sounds like the soles are porous and full of water and you're squelching along. Good shoes otherwise.

Like the look, wore in quickly, does actually seem pretty water proof :) So far so good in the cornish winter, but I still need to test in hot weather, will my feet keep their cool?One thing that is a little odd: they make a crinkling sound as they flex, not a real issue for most but if you're a cat burgler, these are not for you :)

Up to now, I have been wearing gel pulses and I wanted to go upmarket. And I am delighted with the purchase of cumulus 20. They respond completely to my progress in the practice of running. Comfortable flexible light and they have the answer in terms of cushioning both on roads and on more uneven roads

Excellent pair of trainers great fit with a noticeable mid sole cushioning. I have very slight under pronation (lean on outer edge of foot) and these are great. The gore text does have a slight rustling noise to it in quiet rooms but does keep feet dry in Manchester's wet winter's.

This is my second pair of Cumulus GTX by Asics, and they didn't disappoint. These are hard wearing, it took me a few years to break down the other pair, and I still use my old pair for running out to the shed as an alternative to slippers.

Item received very fast. I've had several asics running shoes before, including cumulus 17 and 18, however these ones are a little shorter, like 0.5 cm shorter, so i can still wear them, but feels a little fixed!

Excellent service buy Runner.inn and quick delivery of my "wet" running shoes. Waterproof running shoes are no luxury in Holland - these are well cushioned, perfectly fit and really comfortable. Recommended!

It is the second pair that I bought from cumulus 20 gtx and I have used the cumulus gel for many years and the gtx model since it came out. They give me a very good result of durability and stability.

They are the best shoes I've had. I have always been of this brand but these are beautiful, very comfortable, and waterproof. They look good even with jeans. I will repeat for sure

Perfect for running out in wetter conditions, these are durable, look pretty and provide great ankle support. These are great value too as they are full price elsewhere (£125).
