Im a convert to Asics trainers after my excellent podiatrist recommended them - im on my feet all day and the GT2000 versions stop me getting injuries and tired legs. So I wanted to try the walking shoes for walking my dog in the wet muddy winter conditions. They look a bit more 'with it' than other walking shoes as they are more styled on a trainer. Ive tested the waterproof-ness and they work great, and they are not heavy like traditional walking boots/shoes. Only gripe is that as other reviewers mention they can be a bit narrow and ive had to stretch them quite a bit to get my 'plate sof meat' into them! Update: Bought some for my son now and he likes them too,

These are brilliant value for money and very comfortable. I am a 39 but always order a 40 in Asics Trainers. These are exact sizing as all my other Asics , I think the reason people are commenting they are small is because the Gortex limits the stretch. All you need to do is loosen the laces across the foot to achieve the fit you require. 100% waterproof , have tested on a very muddy wet field run and had completeley dry feet , wonderful.They have a good grippy solid sole and are very well made.I will be wearing for Trail Running and also Dog walking on wet days. Excellent value for Gortex.

I don't use these shoes for running so cannot comment on them as a running shoe. For walking on pavements and round art galleries they are very comfy and also look quite smart. Tread is not too thick and is nice and grippy so no unexpected slipping and sliding. I really, really like the fact they are black as I grew out of Barbie pinks and purples a long time ago. I buy a size 8 in trainers and these were a good fit. However the shoe is on the narrow side, expecially in the toebox, so they probably would not be comfortable for people with wide feet.

This is my second pair of shoes and I know I don't need to look for different shoes. I will repeat the purchase. They are very light, comfortable and durable. The price is very low in terms of GoreTex shoes. This time I bought half the largest size (my foot measures 24.6 cm, I bought 25.5 cm- EU40) and they fit perfectly. I recommend

This is a solid pair of shoes. I have worn them on holidays, hiking trips and they still look like new. They're a little bit 'heavy' but I don't have any issues walking around. To be honest, the insole is very comfortable and supportive. Size wise, I'm usually a size 5 and I buy Asics size 6. For this one, I had to buy size 6.5.

They are very comfortable shoes, I did not expect them so good. They are perfect for long working hours going up and down stairs. The only downside is that they make some noise like you have a plastic bag on your feet, maybe because of the Gore Tex, but I suppose it will disappear in a while. 10's shop

So far (only one week) shoes are waterproof. I know that the brand are sized quite small so I bought half a size larger than normal and they are fine. They are also a slim fitting brand which suits me but probably wouldn’t suit someone with wide feet. Feel nice and bouncy when walking

These running shoes are a very tight fit. However, they are very waterproof, so definitely do the job keeping feet dry. I found the soles a little hard for road running, though this is probably the compromise that has to be made for waterproof effectiveness.

I really was a little bit sceptical seeing that the price was cheaper than most other ASICS shoes of the same model and the same quality but they fit perfectly and they are awesome. Don’t know how they do it but would buy from them any day again. Well done

Super comfy trainer. Won't be used for trail running as suggested in product info.used for walking and they are perfect. Would never wear any other trainer other than asics.And they look cool.Much better looking than white sole trainers....Yuck!

I suffer with shin splints and have to run on grass, as the weather is now pants my normal trainers (same make) were getting wet. These are not as comfy as my others but do the job and stay dry.

Great quality, sturdy and waterproof running shoes which are ideal for the muddy tracks and fields on which I regularly run. Fantastic price and speedy delivery from Runnerinn. Excellent.

Really pleased. I read the reviews before and went up by half a size which is perfect. i ordered a six and half as i am a six.Great shoe for running and good price. Quick delivery.

I will only buy Asics trainers - by far the comfiest with the added bonus of being Gore Tex too.Stops all winter water getting to your feet. Love them... and at a great price!
