This is an excellent wee dram. It's not one I'd usually go for but took a punt as it was cheap in a sale, but so glad I did! It's a West Highlands dram and not to be confused with nearby Speyside whisky. This has peat and depth, with the rounded sweetness of the port finish. It's not quite as long in the finish as an older-age bottling, but then you wouldn't expect it to. A cracking 12 year old. In my taste chart I'd drop it somewhere around Oban/Highland Park and before Bowmore Darkest. It's a seriously good Whisky and a bargain for the price I got it at. It will not last long this Christmas. The colour brought out by the port infusion also helps the impression as you serve it too.

Have been a fan of Ardmore for a few years but recent change of strength and flavour was a let down. This shows what a great whisky it can be - inspired finish - port is even better than sherry and 46 proof is back to where it should be. Price is worth it as this is hard to beat !

This was a Christmas present for my daughter and she loves it, the only problem is she is scared to drink it as it is so nice she doesn't wnat it run done. Delivery was fantastic. Very well packed.
