Really interesting malt at a fantastic price. This is a whisky which really rewards patience and deserves time open up. I suggest letting this whisky breathe in the glass for 20-30 minutes before enjoying. On the nose I initially get notes of light brown sugar with lots of dark fruits, zesty lime and a sweet-savoury aromas and at the back also some ginger spice with oak.However the palate is really extraordinary because the zesty orange peel really comes through and the finish just goes on and on and continues to develop. And on the second nosing I get much more dark chocolate than before the tasting.This is more of a long winded review but if you’re serious about quality malts then you should really try this one.

£114 for a 24 year old whisky = What's not to like !This is how a standard bottling should be, Natural coloured, Non- chill filtered & 46% abv.I found this dram had tastes of dried fruit, citrus, a sweetness like vanilla & leather too.A lovely finish stays with you just long enough.I'd definitely buy again at this price.

Very good dram, let it sit for half an hour in the glass before drinking to get the most out of it. Hard to beat at this price, similar vintages are costing 2 to 3 x plus, making this anCnoc 24 very good value for money.

Complex strong youthful character and depth with a surprisingly clean finish for a 24 year old.
