I have been a barber for 12 years, owned a shop for 7. I do a lot of skin fades/skin tapers/skin blowouts/beard and face work, and used the Wahl 5 Stars for years. And I was skeptical when Andis came out with their version of a box shaver, but I gave it a shot. And unless Wahl comes up with a lithium ion battery and better cutting blade assembly, these are my every day go tos. I used to have to leave the Wahl Shaver on its charger cord constantly, I only have to plug these in for an hour halfway through a ten hour day. I used to have to change the cutting bars on the Wahls every two weeks: I change the foil once a month on these and then the whole assembly the following month. Cuts a lot faster too,

This kit restores your Andis shaver to like-new condition because it essentially replaces all the primary components subject to wear. I have bought this kit twice before, and I'm sure I will continue to buy another one whenever I am in need. For me, each kit lasts about 12 to 14 months. When you begin to notice the shaver isn't cutting as cleanly and efficiently as before and is slightly louder than it had been, you'll know it's getting dull and it's time to order up this kit. Replacement of the cutter heads and foil takes about five minutes if you take the time to thoroughly clean the shaver while you have the foil and cutters removed--which you should definitely do. This is the razor professional barbers/hairdressers for head shaving and some facial shaving. It is a quality product and gives a very close shave . However , the makers recommend replacing this part every 6 months , hence the reason I purchased it . If though users bothered to thoroughly clean and service the shaving cutters and foil after every time used , I would suggest that they would last quite a lot longer than 6 months. For instance , if particle of hair and skin scales are left on the cutters they will attract bacteria to feed off them. It is the excreetions of these bacteria which corrode and dull the cutting capability .

From other reviews I thought it greatly possible that the plastic housing wouldn't fit snugly. I was very happy that it fit perfectly just like the original. Also the old blades snap off easily and new ones go on just as easily. So far very happy. The shave isn't noticeably different from the old. I've had my Andis razor for nearly a year now and still like the shave. I only ordered this product because my foil had torn. I couldn't find replacement only foils so I bought this kit instead which so far works perfectly. Came within a few days too.

I've been buying this same set up for quite some time now. Once before recieved it with screen bent which caused it to fail (break) after a couple of uses. But recently recieved it in the same condition. When i tried to use it, it hurt to use. Even though it has only been twice out of many orders, that's twice too many. Maybe packaging has something to do with it. The next one i get in this condition will be the last i buy from seller. The product itself is great when not damaged.

As a barber, these foils are extremely fragile so i went ahead and bought 3. A few reviews saying they came broken or used but mine arrived brand spanking new. My Andis is back to normal after swapping out the old one for the new one. Also note that they will not be the same color as the shaver itself. I have asked plenty of barber suppliers and they all come like that -- so please don't assume the product is fake.

I haven't used the replacement foil and cutters yet but the purchase and delivery went without a hitch. I expect no problems with the new foil and cutters. The instructions that came with the shaver are clear regarding removing and replacing cutters and the foil is something I remove every day to clean the cutters after use. It's easy to remove and reinstall.

The Andis shaver is an excellent shaver for head shaving. I've been using it for a few years now. These replacement heads get things back in order fast after a few months of shaving dulls things down. I like that it comes with both the cutters and the new foil - makes a new razor in short order! I keep buying them because I'm happy with them. Period.

This product is exactly what you would expect it to be. I'm a hair stylist specializing in men's cuts and I use this blade several times a day so I definitely have put it to the text several times. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to replace the blade on their Andis trimmer. Product arrived quickly and in nice packaging.

I somehow got a hole on my original foil piece and caused a few scratches on my bald head. I went to Amazon and found these original new replacement parts that worked beautifully! I just passed the Andis clippers one time & you can clearly see the skin-close shave it gives you. I do recommend both of these parts in the kit they come in.

Great product!! I’m a barber who has used Andis shavers for years now. As a professional, I use them multiple times a day on clients and the replacement foil and blades last around 6 months before I need to replace!!Never had any issues with ordering these replacements. Great replacement for my original that was broken during travel. Please by a case for these if you plan to travel with it. If your hair grows fast like mine you can’t get the best results after 2 days. I recommend ever other day use. If you skip several days you gonna need something to clean you off first. Then you can use these.

Excellent, easy to replace head and cutters, my second replacement head. Easy to remove head and clean, and to use. Wouldn`t be without it. Make self hair-cutting simple! Saves so much money going to a barbers, and it was mine that recommended Andis Profoil in the first place as they use them too.

Finally, my head feels good after shaving! It's so nice to have a fresh set of blades, and these are priced far lower than I could buy in a store. Definitely worth the purchase; arrived in mint condition and comes with instructions despite how easy it is to figure out.

The color is a perfect match, the blades cut perfectly and the foil is on point. This literally brought my andis shaver back to life. CUTS LIKE NEW and dramatically reduced the noise. I almost bought a Babyless..thank god I didn't because now they cut the same. No bs
