This shaver head replacement arrived just as I was about to have a shave on a Sunday morning so couldn't have been better timed. On examination it seems to be identical to the original and fitted my razor as it should. I note that some reviews state these heads are poorer quality or different in some way but I have not found that to be the case. As I started to shave with it I noticed the shaver seemed more quiet. I don't know the reason but perhaps that was because the blades were sharp and clean. I have used my old head for over 18 months and it didn't seem to be doing too good a job recently so having shaved with the new one I have noticed an improvement...a closer shave and the shave has lasted all day.

The new shaver head on my 390cc-4 is, if memory serves, better than when it was first new: this may be down to the new microcomb central cutters. I really should have replaced it before now.However, Braun have redesigned the two compatible shaver heads: the 32B and 32S. My shaver says to use the 32B: where in the past the 'B' and 'S' defined black and silver and the the shaver head mechanism was the same in both. This has changed so that only one has the mechanism to lock the front foil head in a lower position, so:- New 32S with microcomb is the part for my shaver (e.g. 390cc-4, 380s-4) and those that have a ability to lock the front foil.- New 32B with microcomb is the part for shavers that do not have a slide lock for the front foil (e.g.

My Braun shaver had become very noisy and I didn’t seem to be getting a good shave without going over the same area again and again.I ordered the 32B replacement Braun head, and as lots of other reviews have stated my shaver is now like new again. It’s much quieter and less effort to shave. I was confused by the references to 32B and 32S etc. but apparently the “B” and “S” refers to the colour of the central cutter, “B” being black, and “S” being silver (actually white?) otherwise identical. So this was a 32B but it actually had a white central cutter (see what I mean about confusing!) identical to the original one it’s replacing.Personally I think this item is overpriced,

I kept having "flashbacks" to when my Braun shaver was new and it provided an excellent shave in only a couple of minutes. I was quick to order this shaver replacement when I saw it and am now (again) delighted with my Braun shaver. Replacing the head is a good thing to do. I didn't even look for these replacements for a while because of the unfortunate presumption that they would cost about the same as a new shaver (sort of like what I experienced with choosing to replace a laser printer because a new one cost about the same as the toner / drum combination for the old machine). Not the case here. The cost is reasonable and the quality of the product makes me, once again,

Purchased to replace a broken foil / head on a Braun Series 3 shaver.This foil is a slight improvement on that supplied with the shaver, featuring a 'micro-comb', which whilst not a major 'upgrade', does help to ensure hairs 'stand-up' ready to be cut.It takes seconds to remove the old head / install this one, and a fairly old & well used shaver is like new.Ordered on a Saturday, and using the 'free delivery from Amazon' option, arrived on Monday.Price was among the best on the internet, product exactly as described and delivery was prompt. No reason to be any other than totally satisfied with this purchase.

I've used Braun shavers for years as they're the only ones capable of dealing with my tough 'blue' beard without scraping my skin. My current 340s-4 is over 4 years old so I decided to replace the head and cutters as it had lost performance. This cassette has made my shaver as good as new at a fraction of the cost of buying a new shaver. It doesn't look quite the same as Braun have improved the design and he centre cutter is encased in white rather than black plastic. At first I thought that I had been sent the wrong item, but it fits and works very well.

I bought the shaver a couple of years ago, and only used it a couple of times per week (manual shaving the rest of the time). Shaving performance had started to degrade, despite cleaning the foil after each use.The 32B replacement part was a perfect fit, and restored the shaving performance to its original form.I have always rinced the top of the shaver under water after each shave, but never applied mechanical oil (unlike per the user manual instructions), so that probably damaged the foil progressively.

Despite the fact that the handbook suggested that the foil and cutters should last about 18 months. I noticed that the quality of the shave was deteriorating after about 12 months. Sure enough the "replacement warning" light came on after 13 months so I gave in and bought a new cassette. Not only did it give as good a shave as a new shaver, Braun had made some improvements to the foil and cutters. That's impressive! I'm delighted with the product and you will be too when you fit it to your shaver.

Replacing the cutting head made my shaver perfom as new & the addition of the 'micro comb' (not found on the original) appears to help capture the odd stray longer hair. The reason I only give four stars is the cutting head fell apart on opening the package & it was a bit fiddly working out how to fit it back together! Soon realised it hadn't been securely 'snapped together' at the factory which I achieved with gentle but decisive finger pressure, so no need to return as I first thought.

Bought this as the foil on my series 3 picked up some damage, causing a delightful series of red scratches on my face! Part spec for my razor said I needed a 32S which was £25. Then realised that the S bit was just the colour silver. Ordered the 32B for just under £18 and it fits and works perfectly, now the surround is black. The central foil design has changed slightly from my original, and seems to be much better at catching longer whiskers if I miss a couple of days shaving.

This revitalised an old Braun Cruzer shaver at less then half the price of a new unit. The quality of the shave and the time taken to achieve it are now much improved: I should have replaced the old cutter long ago. The design of the central cutter has changed and now features a plastic guide for longer hairs. This does seem to work as the old cutter had a habit of either missing these or yanking them out (ouch) rather than cutting them.

While the presentation and design is of course good, it is far too expensive. It is comparable to printer ink, but in this case for razors. The profit margins on this product must be phenomenal for Braun, yet unfortunately at the expense of the consumer who will have to replace it eventually (like ink..)If you happen to find another company which sells razors at a comparable quality yet with cheaper replacements, buy from them instead.

Not sure what to say about this, except it's a replacement shaver head for the Braun Series 3, and it works fine. Exactly the same as the old one, it simply snaps on and away you go. I changed mine because my shaver displayed a yellow warning LED, which apparently comes on after 18 months - Who knew? To reset the LED, just hold the power button down for 5+ seconds, and it will go out.

Had to replace the original head assembly as a month after getting the razor I dropped it and ... ooh landed on it's head and damaged the end of a foil. Managed to get by with the damage for a while but decided to go for a replacement .. it's been almost a year since purchase. I think it's ok. Fitted well and performed well. I think it's up to the standard of the original. So 5 stars.

I no need to do this because this item speaks volumes as I have been using Braun from the days of, if it stopped working you could either go to a shop ore send off for the part directly from Braun and as I bought this shaver from Amazon and I am so conferdent in the brand I bought this replacement to keep in stock Just in case. So what are waiting for,. 60 years a user.
