Packaging - Clear and very detailed box, all main points are very clearly displayed and easy to read with enough information. The Modern looking box make you feel you have an expensive and well built product.Design - My first thoughts of the Braun Series 3 shaver was very modern looking and easy to handle due to the futuristic design and rubbers grips on the side. This was the first shaver I have used with a stand which I have found a great feature as this prevents storage looking cluttered. The Charger lights on the front of the shaver are a great indication and shows you the exact status of the shaver. The Carry case is a great feature as this is made very well and handy when on the move.Usage - My previous experiences of Foil Shavers was not positive,

Well here goes my review of the Braun Series 380 Wet & Dry Shaver, i specifically did not shave for a few days until the item arrived to check that it does what it says on the box.Un-boxing - firstly the item arrived in a very sleek package clean and precise when opened everything is laid out so neat & with easy access, included in the box was the shaver,carry case,charging dock,charging cable & instruction book,often you will get a big book on how to use however this is clearly set out & shows diagrams on how to take apart & clean etc.First use - alot of the times i use Electric shavers i seem to get hair everywhere however this time i didn't seem to see any hair anywhere which is great &

Ok, so I normally use a razor to shave as most shavers I have used have always been cheap and never really worked. This on the other hand, is a really good high quality product that cuts really well (obviously not as close as my usual razor but visibly there's little difference) and has the trimmer for sideburns to neaten perfectly. I've used the shaver for a number of days in wet and dry conditions and found it felt smoother in wet conditions. The shaver charges very quickly and after one good charge the shaver has yet to run out of power. It feels good to grip with wet or dry hands and well built. The head comes off easily for cleaning and the carry case is a nice touch and feels well protected when sealed so will be handy when going away for the weekend.

After getting the shaver through the post I unpacked it to see what was inside and all is pretty self explanatory, a shaver, charger and neat carry case.I have not been clean shaven for over 3 years due to my employment never requiring me to be and the fact that I usually get horrible and painful stubble rash the day after shaving.I first had a play around trimming my beard off with just the beard trimmer part of the shaver which worked well (no painful tugging of hair), although it is a bit too large for shaving in quite intricate styles. I managed to shave in some rough mutton chops then a goatee and finally a moustache which seems to be the usual protocol when shaving off a beard you have grown for a while.Then down to the business of the clean shave part.

I think I may have already given my thoughts away in the title. The Braun 3 series is like driving the BMW 3 series - its precision, power and technology is typical of German engineering, that is to say 'Efficient and spot on'!.This shaver does exactly what it says that is deliver a precise shave just how you want - ok, just how I want!I have tried it four times now, twice to shave a beard of different lengths and twice to trim. It is very powerful, smooth and easy to use. No painful pricks, hair getting stuck or uneven cut - its brilliant! And it takes just seconds to trim and a few minutes to shave.Twice I tried it in the shower and its works as it says, no problem at all.

Having used a Phillips electric shaver for many years I was interested in the Braun. Firstly the wet/dry option is great, having never used a wet electric shaver the Braun does this very well.When using it as a dry shaver my skin does not feel so hot, so the Braun is much better for more sensitive skin (although I would not describe myself as having particularly sensitive skin).The Braun is equally competent both used daily, and after having several days growth, although if having not shaved for several days, it can take a few extra passes to get everything.The feature I most liked however is the precision head. One click of a switch and the shape foils separate and rather than being aligned are staggered.

I have tried a number of electric shavers, over many years, with varying success. Due to my job I must be clean shaven and this has often meant me having to wet shave. This resulted in the desired look but I then suffered with extremely painful and unattractive shaving rash. So when I received the Braun series 380S-4 I was hopeful that I could get my desired look without the unwanted side effects.I was immediately impressed with the closeness of the shave and smoothness of my skin. The 380s-4 is lightweight and glides comfortably over my face. I have poor sight in one eye but this did not cause me any problems when using the trimmer for precision around my sideburns.I have also been impressed

The one thing I would like to know before purchasing this shaver is how close a shave will it be. I was very surprised how smooth my skin was after I used this product. Using regular shavers or razors I found it irritated my skin but I had no irritation at all. Used it a few times now and the battery seems to last quite some time before needing a recharge. Looks stylish and comes with a small carry case so easy to pack into a bag or suitcase. Easy and simple to use and fits in to my mourning routine very well. There is only one negative I can see and this is it does not come with an adapter to fit uk sockets. If you don't have a shaver point in your bathroom then you will need to purchase one but these are very easy to get hold of and also cheap so not really an added cost.

First thing first, I was impressed with the initial presentation straight out of the bzz box, then after opening the Braun box it was nice to see a fairly rugged travel case with a decent sized cleaning brush, add to the stand with a built in charger or the ability to just use the charging cable.The shaver it's self looks good and feels stable whilst I'm using it. The shave its self left me a little disappointed after the first use, it struggled to pick up some of the flat neck hairs, other than that it performed better than I expected especially as I'm used to wet shaving. With this in mind I have been trying the Braun 3 380 shaver with shaving gel, just water and in the shower,

Considering I have just bought a shaver not even 2 months ago, I was still pleased when this came through my door.I have used it as the instructions say for around a week now, and have noticed that it has a bit more power than my Remington, which I was glad about, as I have quite thick, stubborn stubble.It doesn't work quite as well in the shower for me, but I only tried it because I could, I won't carry on using it in there, I've got my routines!The precision option is very handy for the parts of my neck and face where I used to have to use the cutter. Now I have no need.Overall, I kind of wish I had originally bought the Braun, but I'm sure my dad won't mind getting my "used for a month" shaver for his birthday,

I've had my Braun shaver for over a week now and well wow its just brilliant so much better then my Phillips 360 shaver it's lighter more comfortable and quicker to shave with when I first got it out off the box I Did think much off it at first glance then I picked it up and sat in my hand beautifully very comfortable to use cuts realey well and the function to be albe to use just one foil for the upper lip is great I did not think much off it when I read about it then used it and thought what a great idea I love the side burn trimmer on the back it's very handy and all comes in a great stylish and sturdy case I am as off yet to find a fault with it to be honest I hope I don't as its the best

I was lucky enough to be chosen to test the braun series 3. Ive been wet shaving using a good old bic style for years and years as being in the military you dont have to worry about finding somewhere to charge up your shaver whilst on exercise! I was dubious at first as a previous electric razor I was given as a gift left my skin feeling rough and stubble still visable. Both my concerns about charge holding time and performance were wiped away after a week of using the braun. It is a fantastic shaver and the charge time lasts well over a week. Ive been left with smooth tidy skin, with no irritation what so ever. It comes with a storage pouch making it easy to keep protected and tidy so I can take it on military exercises.

First impressions of the Braun shaver were good. I liked the design and colours and found it comfortable to hold, thanks to the rubbery grips on each side. I was also impressed that it came with a travel case, as my last shaver did not come with one and I travel a lot for work.I prefer to use it for a wet shave and find that it gives a reasonably close shave, even on longer, coarser hair. I did think it worked best on short stubble though. It was comfortable against my skin and didn’t give me any irritation which was a big plus for me as my skin can sometimes be sensitive.It holds a charge well, which again, is a good thing for me as when travelling I don’t always want to have to pack the charger.Overall,

The Braun Series 3 380s-4 was presented very impressively in it's packaging, along with a handy case and accessories.The charging time proved superior, and was second to none. Very fast and efficient.The shave itself was very close, almost as though I had taken the time to have a wet shave, but effectively it had taken far less time!The only downside that I found was the Long Hair Trimmer, which I found did not give as close a shave. This is the reason I marked the product as a 4*/5*.All in all, I am very impressed with the quality of shave given by the Braun series 3 380s-4 and would highly recommend to all. The shaver comes in an attractive box which is very easy to open (frustration free packaging). It provides a very close shave but more importantly for me includes a trimmer which I use on a regular basis. the build quality is top notch and it feels very well put together.The only downside I would say is that I would have liked to see different attachments which could have been used so that the shaver would be a one stop solution (eg nose trimmer, different trimmer lengths).The addition of a travel carry case makes this a very good shaver indeed!
