I've been using products from the Gilette Venus range for years and because all the Venus handles and cartridges are interchangeable, it's quite good being able to try something new every time they bring out new cartridges.I've used the Breeze previously and that is pretty much the same as the Breeze Spa: they both have the built-in shave bar feature. The bars are great because they eliminates the need for a shaving gel product (you just need water), which not only saves time but it's a potentially good substitute for those with sensitive skin. I normally avoid shaving foam / gel, which make my skin itch but I've never had a problem with the shave bars and the Breeze Spa is no exception. The other good thing about having built-in shave bars,is that they actually provide quite a comforting shave which leaves your legs feeling really soft and smooth. I noticed some people complaining about the shave bars leaving a goo-ey trail and to be fair, this does happen sometimes. Just be sure to pat the blades dry after use and don't leave them soaking wet and faced down as this encourages more go-eyness.The Breeze Spa has the scented element to it (which the regular Venus Breeze doesn't have) but I feel this is a little gimmicky. The scent is lovely and flowery when you open the package but it doesn't really stay on the skin, post-shave.The soap bars do run out before the blade becomes blunt but obviously the blades are still fine to carry on using. I'm a fan of the whole built-in soap bar feature and much prefer it to regular blades: you get really smooth legs in half the time. Worth a try if you're new to them and they're especially good if you're travelling as no shaving gel, means one less thing to fit into the suitcase.

The Venus replacement cartridges are very well packaged, in individually wrapped cases. This makes it easy to take a spare away on holiday with you or store them safely in your bathroom. You can simply peel open the top, clip it onto your Venus razor (this works with any Venus handle) and pop the old one in the packaging to dispose of it.They blades are fairly chunky, but there is no problem over more tricky areas, such as knees and ankles, or more 'sensitive' areas.I am taking away one point because the cartridges can get a little gloopy and leave residue on your skin. This is easily tackled by regularly popping it under running water and rinsing your skin afterwards though.I also found that they did make me itch a little until I learned to rinse well straight away after use. I must point out, though, that I have skin sensitive enough that I have to use baby shampoo on my hair, so I am quite an extreme example. It is just worth mentioning in case anyone else is hyper sensitive too. I think it is the fragrance that is the problem, but I don't have the issue when I wash my legs off straight after use, rather than finishing shaving all over first/ doing my hair or whatever in the interim. The razor provides a nice smooth shave, has a good fragrance that lasts a good few uses, and the gel bars are excellent, completely cutting out need for shaving foam, so you can get in and go, once you have wet either your skin or the razor. Bear in mind that Amazon also sell bigger packs too

With Gillette inventing the concept of `giving away' the razor and selling the blades, you have to be very canny when buying their products. You could end up paying through the nose for a replacement head for your razor. This is not the case for the `Gillette Venus Breeze' as you get 4 new heads in a pack, which is more than you get elsewhere in the range. Like with the other heads available in the `Venus' range, the `Breeze' is interchangeable with other razors in the series, so you could decide that you actually like another head better and start buying that instead. There is a reason why you get a little more for you money with the `Breeze' and that is because of the number of blades. You only get three, which is two fewer than some of the range. This can mean that the shave is not as close and that it does not last as long. To make up for this the `Breeze' has a couple of extras - a scent and a moisturising strip. Not only does it smell quite nice when you are shaving, but is also self-lathering.I did find that the strip needed to be worn down a little before it became useful; prior to this it actually stops the blades from getting close enough to your skin, not the greatest of designs. However, this issue is soon sorted out after three or four swipes and you are away. The fact that you get 4 heads for your money means that the `Breeze' offers some of the best value in the range and will be many people's first choice from the `Venus' collection available from Gillette.

I got these for my wife and she thought they might be pretty good, but I think she was surprised by how good they actually were.Everything is packaged well but it is a bit disappointing from an environmental perspective that each individual blade needs to come in an individual plastic container but I understand it's the only way to keep the gel bars and scent fresh.Speaking of the scent, when you do open one of the blades, you get a really lovey smell. The pink bits (either side of the blades) smell of peaches. The handle is very grippy with non-slip silicone handles and an ergonomic design for good control. Press the razor head onto the handle and you are good to go.The razor head and the gel bars all pivot for extra comfort. She reported that when she first used it on her legs, it glided so easily that she didn't actually think it was working. She thought that the blades just weren't getting close enough to contact the skin but when she felt, she was amazed that the hair had been removed! She loves that you don't need to use any soap (as she would with a normal disposable razor) because the gel bars around the blades do the job on their own.The only thing to note is that she said the hair regrowth was slightly quicker than normal, so maybe the shave is not as close as with other types of razor.Otherwise, she was amazed that the razor worked so well and really loves it.

Being someone who shaves everyday and has extra areas on the body that hair grows, I was keen to get a new razor to try out. It's good to see the handle has been made with 30% recycled plastic, although I'd like to see this percentage even higher. The handle is lovely. It's squidgy and soft, with ridges for a better grip. It's such an upgrade from my old Gillette Venus razor that I've had for years. As soon as I opened a head, the botanical oils were really fragranced and even my mum sitting next to me could smell them. The flexible gel bars look thick and luxurious, but if I have one issue, they clash in colour with the handle. The strips are heavily lubricated and when shaving and lifting the razor away from my skin,it creates strands of soap, which means you don't need to use shower/shaving gel as there is plenty enough coming from the razor head. The hairs easily come off the blades when swilled in the water. Having shaved half of my winter body with one blade it has used around half of the gel strips and they are still in tact and haven't fallen off like previous models have. It did take a while to get through the winter pubic hair and once I got out, I applied oil to my legs when dried. A couple of days later and I wasn't getting as much irritation from dry skin as I usually do.

The Gillette Venus Spa Breeze Razor Blades are a set of four replacement women's razor heads for use with the Gillette Venus razor handles. The razor heads contain three blades along with a bar of solidified shaving cream that creates a thin lather of moisturising cream when it comes into contact with water. As such, when in use (i.e. in the shower etc) there's no need to use any additional soap, gel or shaving cream, and the end results are a soft and smooth finish with no irritation. The moisturising bars seem to stand up to regular use, without using up all of the moisturiser in two or three uses, which is often an issue with other similar products of this nature.Whilst in use and for a short time afterwards the moisturiser has a mild scent of supposedly white tea (although it does smell quite floral), which is a nice little added bonus. The blade heads are quite large (see the included video) which does make it slightly tricky for shaving those awkward areas. However, the self-lathering bars either side of the blades are very flexible and the head does pivot on the handle, so this isn't too much of an issue. All in all the blade heads make shaving your legs etc in the shower relatively easy and I personally wouldn't hesitate in purchasing them again.

Gillette Venus Breeze Spa Manual Razor Blades(X4) are a good quality set of Razor Blades which with four in the actual packet last me a good length of time before having to replace so for me these are a good price. I have been buying this actual brand a long time now for one main reason they work well without cutting my skin which I have done with cheaper brands. With the well-designed blade plus the added bonus of the gel strip which moisturises your skin as you shave they are well worth the money as the quality is within the product. This set of blades will fit any Razor head from the Venus brand which for me is a bonus.I do know these blades are aimed at the female market but for me these would do any person who likes to keep the more delicate and personal parts of their body hair free, they work very well on legs and give such a good job it does not mean you have to keep going over the same area of skin two or three times with the Razor as the Venus range of razors and blades works gives excellent, quick results which is the main reason I return to this brand time and time again.I would recommend the Gillette Venus Breeze Spa Manual Razor Blades as an excellent set of blades which give good results.

FIT ANY VENUS HANDLE?=====================Yes they do, although these blades are slightly larger than other Venus razor blades they fit onto existing handles.GOOD QUALITY?=============Hmmnnn, they are Gillette blades. So they are very good on the first or second use. After that, not that terrific. It's not unique to Venus blades. I do think in 2013 someone should have invented longer lasting blades. (NNS blades?) (NNS=Never Need Sharpening)CAN I TAKE ONE BLADE INTO THE SHOWER WITHOUT SHAVING CREAM?===========================================================You can. They come with an in-built shaving gel. However, there's no way to get a really good soapy lather really. So I'd stick with the blade and shaving gel/foam.THREE BLADES BETTER THAN TWO?=============================It has been said. The first close. The second closer. The third closest. You heard it here first: what about a razor with eleven blades?* (*I am aware someone may come along with a twelve blade system)RECOMMENDED?============They are good quality and particularly good value here on Amazon. So Yes.

Whilst some of the reviews are true and i do agree that these are expensive usually. Around £18 for a box of 8 in the shops and yes, sometimes the gel does go gunky and horrid. The pros for me, outweigh the cons. They are really handy to have and as another reviewer has said, really great if you are going on holiday, away for the weekend etc as they don't take up as much space or weight as a can of shaving gel.I personally find them handy for everyday use. I shave everyday as i have dark course hair and these always give a very very smooth result. Expensive, but i would say they are worth it for the result and just being handy.Never had a cut or nick with these, even when the gel bar is low.Very good sharp blades too.Sometimes, as mentioned, if they get too wet or if you are using them for a long time then the gel can get gooey but its not that big of a deal, they still do the job and i just put it back on the holder (supplied when you buy the razor) and it soon dries back to normal.Would 100% recommend just for pure convenience!

I normally buy Gillette as I trust the quality will be good. This one is no different. My set included the main shaving part and 8 blades, for the price of £20 it felt slightly cheaper compared to other shops. As I have fine hair on my arms, I would not normally shave them, but as it felt awkward to post pictures of my legs here, I tried to shave one hand and left the other for you to see the difference. Thanks to the protective gel the razor glided upon my skin, I felt nothing but cooling sensation. The 3 blades had great job to remove my fine hair and removed everything with one try. It did very close shave, removing every single hair. After shaving, my hand felt instantly smoother compared to my other one.You can see the difference yourself. Awkwardly it felt like 2 different hands on the picture. But both are mine, I swear. What I also like is that you can switch and swap the razor heads from other Gillette razors. In my experience these are so far best razors and work well for me.

I was forced to change from my usual BIC (bag of 25 for 1.50 ... those where the days!) which they no longer make to the Gillette Venus razor (after trying electrical which disappointed and a couple of other manuals).I had initially tried the "Embrace" until the other half said it was a man's colour razor (blue and green) which is why he'd tried it?! So in order to distinguish between mine and his and to try to ensure that it didn't happen again I got a pink "Breeze" one and, rather than discard the head, I decided to try it and was absolutely delighted with the result. I thought the "Embrace" was good but the "Breeze" was (in my opinion)better.I have learnt that when you discover a razor that you like then you need to stock up on spare blade heads and this pack gives 4 pink "Breeze" heads to keep you going. I am hoping that they don't discontinue these heads for a while yet as I really do appreciate the great shave I have achieved.

I’ve been using Gillette disposable razors for my legs for many years, though I’ve found the men’s razors have always been better until Gillette made their Venus range. This Comfort Glide razors are very well designed with a soft silicone coated handle that’s ergonomically designed to feel comfortable in the hand and the razor blade head has soft flexible end pieces infused with botanical oils that act like gel when wet so additional gel isn’t needed, a super idea when travelling, plus there’s three blades to shave close. They have a lovely scent, like coconut. I normally always use a shave gel on my legs before shaving but I don’t need it with this comfort glide blade I get a really close smooth silky shave that leaves my skin smooth and moisturised too. When I’m done, I rinse the blade in hot water and leave it to dry , I find one blade head lasts me ages. This set with 8 blades though is super value I’m very happy to recommend to you.

This pack gives you four cartridges - coming individually wrapped. On both sides of the razor blades, there is a scented gel which basically is like putting on shaving cream. It works really great.I previously used a standard Venus razor and separate gel and i prefer this option as it is just easier. So far, I've been using for a coupe weeks (shaving every other day) and am finding the same razor to be fine as well as continuing to have enough gel left on the razor blade. My only challenge with them is shaving in small places at the start of a new blade. For example, while it gave me enough gel for my legs, I found the amount of shave gel that came off the razor blade when I shaved under my arms was too much and made it a bit difficult for me (perhaps its just me!).That said, I liked it enough that I continued to use these blade - just started to keep my old razor for under my arms..just under I had enough uses on the blade.

(Written by my wife)I have been using regular Gillette Venus blades for a while, but these are a fantastic improvement. The shave gel bars work really well, and you can easily manage without having to use additional shaving gel; they leave the skin feeling very soft afterwards.By not having to use shaving gel these blades also speed things up and aren't messy at all. They're great for day to day use, but I imagine they'd be particularly handy if you were travelling and didn't want to carry shaving gel in your luggage. It is difficult to say how long the gel bars on each blade will last, but even when the gel bar bit runs out it is just a regular Venus blade they're attached to so you could continue to use if the blade was still good. What's also great is that all the Venus blades are interchangable so you don't need to buy a new handle if you already have one and want to try the blades.

As with all Gillette Venus Razor Refills, this can clip onto your existing Venus handle easily. They are all interchangeable, so if you feel that your needs aren't quite being met by one version of the refills, you can just swap to another. The Breeze Spa Razor heads are really good in that they give a good close shave. They have a scented moisturising layer above and below the blades. This leaves your skin smelling lovely, and feeling soft and silky - just as they advertise!Aside from the colour (pink) and scent, they perform as well as I have become accustomed to. They do, however, only contain three blades per refill cartridge. If you need something more hardwearing then I suggest you look into The Gillette Venus Embrace razor Blade Cartridges,as they have five blades per cartridge.Overall, I highly recommend them!
