I have always used disposable razors as they were cheap and I thought did the job! However, I was always slicing flesh off like a kebab slicer and always rashed up after shaving and itched. So I decided to upgrade to non disp razors and came across the Venus, Olay range. It arrived, I cracked it open and didnt expect the bee's wax on both ends of the blades. I used it that night without shaving foam, the white wax lubes the skin before the blade runs over it and the honey coloured wax soothes the skin. I didnt have to go over the same area over and over. Once was enough :) I was amazed at the results. My legs were silky smooth to the touch,

I was given the Venus and Olay razor to test for Amazon vine. At the time, I was impressed with the razor itself, not so impressed with the cost!Anyway, after a week of using the blade that came with the razor, I really noticed a difference in the condition of my legs. Previously, even if I used shaving gel, I would always cut myself. Not with these. I also loved that I wasn't messing around with razor and gel, while standing on one leg in the shower.The blades themselves shave as good as any others I have tried and leave my legs feeling moisturised. I find that I have to go over my armpits more than once but not a problem on my legs. Maybe it's the awkward shape? It's not a huge problem anyway.Now,

I have really sensitive skin and these are the best razors I have found for reducing problems. The Olay ones are kinder to my skin than the similar pink ones that also have the comfort glide strips at the top and bottom although maybe slightly stickier. Keep the razor dry as if it stays damp the little comfort glide 'pillows' will get too sticky, soften and fall off with any friction as soon as you start shaving. They just need a little rinse in water to get them working each time. These aren't cheap razors but they do last a long time and give an excellent close shave (I have annoyingly dark hair on pale skin!) so I think they are worth the money. It's also much cheaper to buy them in bulk like this even if it feels bit 'ouchy'

First off ill just start with the fact that I'm a male cyclist and these were bought by me for me.Down sides is quality control as a few others have said sometimes the odd blade is blunt to the point of being painful & overall the price is pretty high.However they are still a rather good deal, as most of the cartridges I have used have been very good with a great finish when in use so whilst they look expensive you do get what you pay for. The blades can be used with or without shave cream & unlike other multi blade cartridges don't seem to bind up with hair.Yes the head is massive if your used to a disposable but it sits well on the legs and the handle is pretty comfortable.

Just the best razors I have used. I found recently that my usual Gillette razors were causing nicks every time I shaved. I think as I get older my skin is thinner so probably not a fault with the razors. However, I haven't had one cut since i I started using these! Only drawback is the cost. I find once you have used a few times, there is still plenty of 'soap' left but as it wears, it does not lather, as it bends away from the skin. I find I have to discard even though it looks as though you could still get a couple more shaves.

It's very smooth and easy to use, especially (obviously) when you first use it. Glides so nicely! My only issue is the price, since it doesn't last very long. It seems like a waste of plastic and money to keep replacing it. After the soap bar begins to run out, I use conditioner as a shaving gel and can get a few more uses out of it, so have definitely made it last longer than some of the other reviews here say. But will be waiting for a sale since I think it doesn't last long enough to justify the price.

I have been using Gillette Venus for years and I decided to give a try to Olay. I was impressed with the product. As it moisturises at the same time, it leaves your skin soft and smooth. It is not a cheap product but I would definitely recommend if you want to try something new in the Gillette range / if you are looking for a soft skin. Sometimes some razors damage your skin, and with the Olay, it does not happen.

Love that these come individually wrapped. Price seems expensive but they're so gentle on the skin and make my skin feel soft and smooth (no red bumps in sight). I originally bought the razor on offer so it's my first time buying the razor blades in bulk, but much better than buying cheap disposable ones all the time. Better for the environment and my skin! Recommend.

I've been using Venus Olay for over 2 years now. It's so much better than usual razors. I only realised that when my Olay refills have finished and I had to use a disposable gillette razor. I have very sensitive skin and Venus Olay is so gentle that I forgot how uncomfortable are bumps after shaving ;p It last longer than normal razors too. Very happy with them.

Am really impressed with this product - it does exactly what it promises to do on the easy to open packaging! Love the moisture bars - you can really feel the benefit of them. Found the razor bigger than what I'm used to but it was well designed and easy to hold and use. It made my legs feel really silky and smooth so I would definiteley buy this product again

I found that these razors were better than anything else you can get for keeping your skin soft, silky and smooth. They moisturise as they shave and you can feel the difference from any other razor and it is excellent and lasts for ages. I would definitely recommend these razors for ensuring that your skin stays lovely and soft.

Good value for money, I normally find that 6 refills last me about 6 months with a single shave a week. I have got this on their subscribe and save option which is beneficial. Highly recommend if you don't want to pay out at the drugstore and they're delivered right to your door without any fuss after the agreed time period.

ever had the fear of putting your hand in your overnight bag trying to scramble around without slicing yourself on your half blunt razor.Fear no more! These come packaged perfectly and individually wrapped! Great for the weekend away or simply easier to play Jenga in your bathroom cupboard!All in all FAB!

Using Gillette Venus for my legs for at least already six years. Shaving them once per week make the hairs do grow slower than usual! I don’t even remember how is to use another shaver head .. make my skin super soft after shave and I don’t use body lotion on the shaved area after it .

At first use, these are great. I don't think I've ever had as nice a shave in all my time shaving! All the hair was removed, and my skin was left amazingly soft.After the first few times using however, as others have said, it does not remove all hairs and leaves skin a bit dry.
