This is a pack of six replacement blades that fit all Venus razor handles except Simply Venus. Note that a handle is not included in the pack.The blades are individually packed in a protective plastic carton with peel-off lid, so can be safely stored in the bathroom without detriment. They trim hair very close to the skin so you are left with smooth results with minimal effort; thanks to the incorporated gel strips, you do not even need to use shaving gel/foam. These really are the height of convenience.The pack guides that you should consider changing the blades every two to six weeks depending on how often you shave.

This is my partners’ review.These Venus razors are easy to use and are convenient to use when you are in a hurry, or work is peripatetic and you are away from home.This razor leaves my legs feeling smooth and it contours around the knees better than any razor I have used recently. The rotating ball on the razor head helps with those tough to reach places. It manoeuvres well and allows me to shave quickly and efficiently without fear of cutting myself. Moreover, my legs remained smooth for a couple of days before they needed shaving again. In the past, with some other brand of blades, they always got dull so quickly and I ended up getting razor burns or those unsightly bumps, but not with this razor.

I have sensitive skin, and while there are lots of cheaper blades out there, Venus simply just don't make me break out like I gots the chicken pox every time I shave my legs, and with my unfortunate rapid hair growth, that's every 4 days ('cept when I get lazy).I get a good many goes out of them, and even after multiple uses, they never drag or hurt me, they simply just stop being so quick at removing the hair (takes another pass or two) and that's when I finally change blades. I'd change more often if they weren't so expensive, but on the flip side, you DO need to pay the extra, because those cheap ass blades work great first shave, and that's about it, tear your flesh off the next time, so yes,

These are great razors. I didn't realise before receiving these blades that it is possible to use any Gillette Venus Blades on any Gillette Venus handle. I had been buying complete new razors each time they bought out a new design! However, I have now tried and yes it does work in any combination.As ever these blades give a great shave, the rotating ball is perfect for use on knees and other awkward parts of the body, without those little knicks are usually end up with.My only downside is the price - I am not sure that I will be paying the extra to have the rotating ball, although it does save time. The price tag is a little high for me at the moment.

After years of using normal razor blades and replacing them over and over, this one take good lots of use before replacing (I’ve only been using it for over 1 month now, haven’t had to replace it yet). It’s easy to clean and doesn’t cut you. I think there should be an open case along with this as you can leave it on there to dry without worrying about the moisturising part getting stuck anywhere as you’ll lose some of that. The extra blades are a bonus. The ball acts like a spring; when you push down somewhere it will follow the same move without you hurt yourself, not sure if it actually “swivels”

These are the best venus razor heads compared to the rest, the ones with the 'moisturise big bar' run out so so quickly but this one lasts longer. It's probably made from the same thing but I feel this purple one provides a bit more moisture than the blue one and is smoother. I can shave down there without any cuts and it just does the best job. The 'swivel ball' isn't too much of a deal breaker but I still like it.*TIP* Apparantly, venus gillete recycle their razor heads (Please recycle!!!) if you collect them and send them off in the Teracycle bag they provide. It's all on their website.

It is a fact of life, that things which are good at moving round bends tend to lose out on the straight. This is true of the venus swirl. You will save time on you knees and ankles, but has a mind of its own when trying to shave straight down a limb. The lubrication is not good enough on its own. You should still use a gel. 5 blades seems like overkill. to me. 3 blades are enough for a razor IMHO.Overall I liked the blades, but I am not convinced that they are worth paying twice as much for.

I've had one of these for years and lost it while travelling. Now I bought the exact same one again because this one really works so well. When you put a bit of pressure on the handle, the blade attachment swivels gently so that even my ankles and knees always come out super smooth.You can also use the handle with other Gillette brand razor blades. I've tried a bunch of the cheaper ones, but these purple ones with 5 blades and moisturising strip are the best in my opinion.

These are excellent razors! I have tried using cheaper versions before (disposable Bic type ones) and although they are OK on the first use they soon become blunt and unusable. The Gillette Swirl razors stay sharp until the very end! I use them in the shower and so my skin is wet and moisturized - and the razor glides easily over legs and armpits with no dragging or nicks. Hair regrowth is as you would expect but the initial finish is smooth and fabulous. Highly recommend.

There’s a reason Venus razors dominate the market they are so good and they last a long time if you keep in it’s shell. I’m still on the same reactor head now 5 weeks later no cutting or missing bits of hair. So close to skin really smooth on first stroke makes it so quick and easy to shave.Yes it’s a bit expensive but you do get what you pay for, those disposable razors you use once and they cut you to shreds save your money and your time and just get Venus.

I am reviewing the blades as this pack does not have the razor with it and I had to buy one. I had always used a Bic or similar disposable razor previously. There is a world of difference, I found it very strange that the head is so loose and almost floppy while the Bic are fixed. Also this head is much larger which took some getting used to. There is no denying it however, the shave is far superior with these blades, far smoother and closer.

I've always favoured Venus razors. Theyve always given me the best results. Everytime i move away to a cheaper option i end up disappointed and end up back with Venus. I tried the swirl on a whim and wow! The original venus was good ..but this is unreal. Especially for hard to reach spots, ankles, backs of legs etc... highly recommend. Also fantastic value for money. This comes with 3 blades... each last about 4 weeks. No brainer. BUY IT!!!!

This works- I have been a long fan if the version with the wet shaving block attached despite the price as it never drags or cuts etc and thus will be equally effective( well better blades) with a shaving cream or foam- the multi angle blade is very effective and good in delicate areas. There is a massive difference with good high end blade units and quick fix ones. They don't need yo be disposed of instantly either. Very good.

I'll admit, Im awful for buying disposable razors and having an awful shave. After hearing the hype about the swirl, I thought I may as well give it a go.These razors are super smooth, theres no tugging/pulling feeling and they leave you absolutely baby soft, even after the razor being used 3-4 times! I love the gel around the razor as I have had no red bumps or irritation/razor burns. I definitely recommend!

I used always get it from high street but during this lockdown, try my best not going out, and bought this from Amazon, surprised me the price is really brilliant, 3 heads cost only a tiny bit more than one compared with high street price, and the quality is exactly same, easy using, after shaving the skin is very smooth! If order regulars even more cheaper, I think I will do subscription next time.
