The replacement foil for the Wahl Shaver Shaper/5 star Finale is a must have. Probably better to buy atleast 2 upfront if your new to this device. It cuts pretty well with stubble and haven't yet had any irritation. My only 2 beefs are:1) The foil itself is hot pressed into the interior of the plastic shell so if you press to hard when your cutting it has a very good chance of breaking free and no real solution for that, hence....better buy atleast 2 additional foils upfront.2) Wahl is not specific on how to clean the foil. Even after emailing Wahl several times I have yet to get a response. I have used Wahl Clipper/disinfectant/sanitizer Total Care spray in the past with no issues.

Quality of the product has gone down. Before these would last me minimum 1 year with proper care. The most recent one had to be replaced less than. 3 months of usage. I recommend you don't apply too much pressure while shaving for bald fades or beard trims. Other than that, I don't see myself switching to the Andis shaver. For anyone that is on the fence with cost, these do fluctuate in price. Keep in mind that the burgandy one and theses are Interchangeable and work. These happen to be cheaper than the burgandy one, so I got these instead.

The only thing I dont like about these is that the foil breaks every few months. I oil it and clean it often before use. the foil itself is thin so it will break over time....nothing lasts forever. It gives a very good close shave.

The foil head is a genuine Wahl part. The original had a fault however the supplier sent a replacement part straight away so very happy with their customer service. Replacement part working fine.

I have had shaver for just under a year and I have not managed to take the top of even after taken it in to the supplierI have now had it for just under a year and up to now it has been fabulous

I've bought several of these over the years. Eventually they don't shave well, but after hundreds of shaves, you would expect that. These fit my shaver and shave nice and close.

This is ok product, but I have now brought a different set of foils babyliss that last longer and doesn’t need replacement as quickly at all, as these aren’t as strong!!

I don’t like the fact that these things need to be replaced on a regular basis, but having said that the results of the shave are phenomenal

I use this after I use a normal head shaver to get my head right down to the bare wood. So close and smooth it does a great job indeed

These shaver foils work perfectly, for about a month. Then, one side of the foil will come loose from its connection to the body.

Nice and close. The foil breaks easy, but after realizing that I have gotten much better life out of the following replacements

I my huband really liked the need shavers head!! He told all his friends about them!!!! We will order again in the future!!

The original shave head foils cam loose. They were never plastic welded. Now the new one has been properly plastic welded.

Can't beat the Wahl Finale for head shaving. The foils are very fine and delicate, they will break if you aren't gentle
