I work as a catsitter, and find this brush a great part of my kit. I use it mostly on shorthaired cats, and find it's great for ones that are sensitive, and especially for older ones who's coats are getting spikey. If they have real clumps you'll need to gently finger tease those apart as this isn't strong enough to do that (Probably a good thing as you don't want to pull!). But this is great for a deep yet gentle groom that will get out lots of loose hair. Definitely esential kit if you have an older shorthaired cat with a few health problems who's maybe getting a bit skinny and scruffy.Over time some of the end bobbles do come off, so you may need to remove those tines or eventually replace,

I bought this brush for my cat by accident; it’s very small (the head is around 5x3cm) and I almost sent it back thinking it wouldn’t do the job. I’m glad I didn’t because it does a fantastic job. My cat is obsessed with it and regularly brings it to me to ask to be brushed. He’s an adult British shorthair and the difference it’s made to his coat has been incredible. The first time I used it I spent about 20 minutes brushing him with masses of fur getting caught by the bristles. He used to shed fur like crazy and leave hairs all around the house making everywhere look dirty. I now only need to brush him for about 5 minutes each day (though he often demands more)

Although this brush is aimed at small animals ie guinea pigs, rabbits etc it’s actually ideal for kittens too. I have two long haired kittens and am trying to get them comfortable with being brushed, the cat size brushes are too big for under their chin and underarms. This brush is teeny but perfectly sized for kittens, even when they grow it’ll be ideal for the harder to get to areas.

Very small, the packaging actually advertises the brush for a rabbit/Guinea pig. If you have a long haired cat and need to brush to stop shedding I wouldn't recommend the small size as it will take you all day. However, if you do have all day or a short haired cat I would definitely recommend; my cat loves it and starts purring immediately!

What a surprise as it looks so tiny but I did read the reviews and was informed that it would be small and look disappointing but is actually good. And it was true. My cat is not the biggest fan but loved this. It's small so got in all the awkward spots and my cat did not fidgt too much and we got the job done.

During malting season so much fur came off my rabbits so now i use this at least once a week on them and now it's become a nice little grooming ritual between us. I use it when they're relaxed and lying down and they don't mind me using it on them although sometimes they think it's a toy and want to toss it!

Great little brush for my rabbit, easily gets rid of any loose fur. Is comfortable, better for smaller rabbits though. I think it should come with a little leaflet though with how to use and warnings for less experienced users as if used wrong the bristles can cause damage to the animal as are sharp.

I got this for my cats and dog. Being designed for small animals, it fits over the contour of my animals better. The protected heads of the bristles means all my animals find it much more comfortable - instead of running away from a brushing, they come and nudge me to do it more!

Initially thought this brush is too small however after using it on my cat, she absolutely loves it. She drools when I'm brushing her. She hasn't shown any enthusiasm for anything until this. Her coat is much nicer and has stopped the dreaded spring shead.

I got this brush for a moulting fairly long haired cat and it works well. Effective but not harsh, the cat purrs away when I groom him and I save an awful lot of hairs from going elsewhere. Very easy to clean and take hair out.

I got this for my cat because the furminator is too harsh for her sensitive soul. It isn't the best at removing dead hair but she is OBSESSED with getting brushed by this--it's like a little kitty massage when it comes out :)

This works really well for my medium sized cat. He hates it when I brush him but it does do the job. As it is quite a small brush, he seems to be less intimidated by it. Has helped a lot with minimising malting!

Arrived on time. Cute handy size use on small dogs with fine hair. Brushes coat well and comfortable in the hand. I ordered one then ordered another! Very pleased with this product. Would definitely recommend.?

Excellent size for my cat, or would suit smaller dog. Very pleased since metal cat comb seemed a bit brutal, and similar brushes I'd bought before were too big. Cute little brush, works a treat. Cat loves it!

Lovely soft ended brush - my elderly short haired moggy loves it (much more than the last regular slicker brush which didn't have the soft tips). The small size makes it perfect for brushing his head/face.
