Last night my son (a very active toddler) and I had the pleasure of playing with the DreamWorks Spirit Riding Free Spirit & Lucky Grooming Paddock. May I just say the packaging was a bit intense as little hands hate to wait for all the straps, clips, ties, and plastic cages to be taken apart. I am glad I took my time because many of the smaller parts of the toy were tucked into the packaging and hidden in the cardboard nooks and crannies. Once we assembled (very easy) the pieces it was all out wash day on the farm. He was fascinated by the moving lift, the sliding doors, and the bendable hose. He brushed Spirits hair, the little girls hair, and even my hair. He even brought in his other farm animals from other play sets.

Spirit & Lucky Grooming Paddock brought the Netflix show Spirit to life in my living room for my two girls! My six year old enjoyed caring for the horses and pretending to be Lucky, while my younger daughter enjoyed grooming the horses as she mimicked her older sister. The girls even got their Dad in on the fun! Lucky’s ability to ride Spirit adds to the overall play experience and the craftsmanship’s that went into this toy can be seen throughout. There is no doubt in my mind that this will continue to be a popular toy in our house.

A lot of thought was put into making this toy and my 4 year old loves it! She enjoys playing in each setting/area of the barn (especially the sliding barn door) and is infatuated with all of the accessories. Endless hours of playing!Some cons definitely include the packaging. With the amount of accessories included, this toy takes some time to remove from the box. Additionally, the large horse is the slightest bit off balance but I think it’s due to the detail on its hooves. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My daughter loves Spirit and this set had everything she wanted. Not only do you get Lucky and Spirit, but also a cute baby horse. She also loved the elevator and all the grooming accessories. Nice quality and great value for the price.

My niece absolutely loves watching Spirit Riding Free so I thought this would be a great gift for her 5th birthday. She loved the playset so much and her Mom told me she plays with it all the time unlike a lot of her other toys!

Our granddaughter really enjoyed playing with the horses and stables etc. I have no doubt they will be played with again this half term.
