Worms WMD has to be the best '2D' worms game since at least Worms World Party. The last few Worms games haven't offered anything new in terms of game play. The last 'different' worms game was Space Oddity back on the Wii, and prior to that you had the surprisingly decent 3D games on the PS2. Since then every worms game released has relied on the same classic worms formula with barely any new features. I was beginning to fear that the series was becoming stagnant and unappealing to new gamers, but fortunately Worms WMD changes all that!Firstly the visuals are great from the scenery through to the new 'cartoony' Worm animation. This is the best looking worms game so far. All the classic weapons are here,

I bought this as a gift for my husband for Christmas as Worms is one of a few games he does enjoy playing. He's been having fun working his way through all the training and mission levels, from a spectators perspective it seems just like the original games but with updates graphics, the language is still the same happily. He says he is enjoying it so I guess it's good!

Excelent game. Nice backgrounds and levels, not like in previous game where i had problem to decide where I can stand and where not. They also added tanks and helicopters along with moving inside the buildings and crafting custom weapons or adding power ups to old ones. All these things bring much more fun into the game. Best 2D worms game if you ask me!

A real return to form for Worms here, so much nicer to look at than Battlegrounds, no frame rate issues or ugliness - quite the opposite in fact, the levels look great. Lots to do, lots of options for battles and the gameplay is solid, the addition of vehicles genuinely works.

I loved the original series. They were fun and tactical couch competitive games. This is basically the same game, with tonnes of extra content in glorious hand drawn 1080p HD. I would recommend this to any fan of the PS1 classic, and it's a steal at ~£20.

I love Worms! This one is the best of them all in my opinion. I miss the water from the last Worms game but with all the extra weapons you get from this, it's great.

Very addictive. Surprisingly turned out to be a very in depth challenging game. Hours and hours of fun (and sometimes frustration) but overall this is a great game.

Pretty fun. Back to the original 2D that I grew up playing. Multiplayer is iffy, sometimes don't get to start a game because of an error, otherwise would recommend.

Much easier for the family to play on t.v/playstation with muliple controllers instead of cramming around the laptop to play the pc version.

A perfect multiplayer game for just a couple of you or a bigger group. Hilarious!
