I have bought this cable a about 3-4 months ago and have been using it since. I was a little cautious about buying a cheaper cable for use with the DVI standard. But I decided to go ahead anyway as my LCD is fairly old and is only 1280 x 1014, and I can say I didn't need to worry! This one works very very well.The cable is nice and thick, and I can feel that it has decent shielding directly under the plastic coating, as you can feel it all the way around the cable and yet the cable is still very flexible I assume they have used braided shielding. The cable has 2 molded ferrite cores, encased in plastic at either end and the connectors at either end seem nice and strong.

This is a nice right-angled DVI cable. Its right angle was at the right angle (omglol) so the cable went up towards the monitor rather than down towards the floor, and it screwed it easily and now I have a better picture quality than the VGA cable I was previously using.My only slightly negative comment is that the right angled part sticks out more than I expected, so I can't get my PC against the back of my desk as much as I want. But apart from that, there's nothing to complain about.

Purchased 3 of these cables for my monitors and they work fine however my only problem is with the length of the cable, luckily I managed to setup my monitors how I wanted them but it came very close. I would recommend purchasing a longer cable if you have a 3 monitor setup as you will find that you run out of cable very quickly. apart from this, the overall quality of the cable is very good if you don't require longer cables for your purposes I would recommend purchasing.

Cable came well packed. Thick - quality cable, works well and money well spend. Though some screw are a bit troublesome to get screw into socket. But need to be gentle as I think is due to weight and thickness of cable that it becomes not flexible and need to be gentle to slightly move it around to make the screws to catch the holes.

What can one say. It did the job and it continues to do so. A chunky feel of a product too. You can read the specs and the other stuff for yourself. No doubt there are small differences between models but in any case this customer was happy. Just make sure you get the right version as there are several similar ones.

Ordered this cable to connect a Mini DisplayPort Dual DVI Adapter to a Dell3007WFP Monitor. This cable worked! Many others that purport to be DVI-D Dual Link cables simply don't work. Great quality cable for high-res requirements. Now running 2560x1600 with no problems. Thanks.

This is a good cable and no problem with it. My only regret it is too short. Clearly stated 3 feet I wanted longer I was look at the price and the length. Certainly worth 5 stars But I giving 4 star instead for personal reason.

High quality DVI cable for linking PC to Monitor - this is DVI-D (which is by far the most commonly used for PC/Monitor connection) - but just be absolutely sure you buy the right one for your own set up

Not a lot you can say about a cable really. Appears to be good quality, works fine. Would have no reservations in buying again. StartTech are a A1+ firm with competitive prices so you can't go wrong.
