Three months ago I bought a WMF knife block, complete with four Spitzenklasse Plus knives and a honing steel (Picture 1) at a local brick-and-mortar store. The knife block is almost identical to the one sold here—in make, material and colour. The only difference seems to be that my block can hold four knives (Picture 2), while the one sold here can hold five plus a meat fork. Since no one else has reviewed this item on Amazon, I thought it would be beneficial for prospective buyers to share my experience. Please, note that I have taken pictures of the block with the knives to give you an idea of what the complete set looks like, but you will only be buying an empty block at the listed price.PROS1.
