Very stylish and sturdy. Heavy enough to stay stable but not too heavy to lift/carry. It is slightly darker gray in real life than it appears here but that's perfect for me. The only thing I wish was different is for it so stand more upright, but I guess then it could easily fall over and you wouldn't want that with knives!Update: after about 7 months of use, it has quite a few minor scratches and marks, even though I've been careful not to stab or slide knives over it. It's not a complete deal breaker and I like it more than knife blocks but if I had the option to have a wall-mounted magnetic knife rack, I would choose that instead

This knife block is the perfect addition to our kitchen, it is a sleek and modern design whilst making it safe to store knives whikst super easy to grab them from any angle! It’s not too heavy or overly magnetised where it is a struggle to take the knife of the block it is the perfect magnet if that makes sense and 100% worth buying! Highly recommend !

I love my new Richardson Sheffield magnetic knife stand from Argos. Not only is it modern, but it makes choosing the right knife for the job easily. Despite using my old knives it still is modern, and looks totally fabulous in my updated kitchen.

Highly recommend, looks very sleek and stylish in our kitchen.We currently fit one bread, one meat & one cheese knife plus two scissors on ours. There’s probably space for one more utensils but it all depends on the size of the items.

My daughter in law has wanted one of these for a year and was over the moon when I finally found one at Argos direct. The delivery was faster than expected and we are happy with all aspects from ordering to receiving. Thank you Argos.

Great item for the kitchen, I have now put 4 large knives and 4 smaller knives in place, looks so stylish. Hope it lasts well. BUT …….. WOW AMAZON ARRIVED NEXT DAY LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER I ORDERED. THATS SERVICE.

Brought this along with a new set of knives. Its perfect, looks good and better then a knive rack. Easy to clean and hasn't scratched so far. The only thing that bugs me is the logo wasnt stuck on straight on mine

Great knife stand, easy to use and to keep clean. I bought this to replace one of the 'spaghetti' knife blocks which just got all knotted up, this has no moving parts and is so simple but super elegant.

Really like this item and fits my new knives well. I would say that if your knives have heavy handles, then they need to have a bevel otherwise the magnet may not be strong enough to hold them upright

Really like this product, looks so much more classy than a wooden block, and most visitors pass positive comment on it. Would buy again as gift, but when I tried they were out of stock.

It makes a change to find something made in uk Sheffield to be exact ,it’s a fantastic knife holder I have 8 heavy knives on it they stop wear you put the great English workmanship

This is fantastic whoever invented it should be honoured it is stylish ,functional yet easy to use my kitchen worktop looks the business and all my friends are envious.

I am very pleased with this item. My knives no longer have to sit in a drawer and can now be safely stored in a handy place. Much less chance of cutting myself.
