I have been using the original 'Quattro' razor for a number of years now. During that time Wilkinson Sword have updated the blades and, although I can't really discern any real improvement in shave quality with this new design, they successfully do the job required of them. - They give a close and comfortable shave.Accepting that there are many variables involved in choosing a razor, (what blade suits one face may not necessarily suit all), I would still recommend giving the 'Quattro' a try.In this crazy world where a simple razor has become a 'shaving system' and where there are so many competing models on the market - each making ever-more extravagant claims about their shaving quality over the next - I have to ask 'How much more complicated do we want to get?'The basic 'Quattro'

A real bargain for the money. Haven't seen this version of the Wilkinson Quattro on sale anywhere in high street retail shops, and certainly not at this price. They all seem to stock only the battery powered new model Quattro with the electric trimmer at the end of the handle, which I don't need, as I do not have sideburns or a moustache. The white handle one (also for sale in some shops) which I used previously eventually starts dissolving and becoing sticky, probably caused by the shower foam over time. I think this must be the original Quattro model, before they brought out the white handle model - but why try to improve on perfection?

I absolutely love these blades. They just last and last. I ran out once and bought the titanium version at Asda. Guess what? They were total rubbish and did not last nearly as long and yet I paid almost double the price for half as many. I truly question if the Titanium Wilkinson Sword branded blades in Asda were genuine. I shave with baby oil which is by far way better than shaving soap for your skin. It’s also cheaper. If you leave the oil to soak in for 5 minutes and then shave with very hot water you will get a much closer shave. I recommend this product highly. I’ve not been approached to write this review or been given incentives. Google me if you like.

I used to buy the cheap two blade throw away razors (with or without lubrication strip) and found that they did not last long and gave a rough shave at times. I have an electric shaver but I am not too keen on the shave it gives. To try and get a better shave, and do my bit for the environment, I looked at all the various non throw away ones on offer and chose the Wilkinson sword brand (my dad used this brand when I was young) and the Quattro because 4 blades should be better than two. They do give a great shave, do not nick my skin, last a long time, and price wise are great value.

i have been using these for years, i really like how smooth they are - my skin is a little on the sensitive side so when i tried the common Gillette hydro and whatever else they were too coarse. i am not sure why - perhaps the little wire "guards" they have keep the blade from touching your skin or something else, but these don't cut or irritate my skin. i love them! not sure why they are not more popular. if you're a long term gillette user - strongly suggest you give these a try just once

These are perhaps not quite as good as their Titanium cousins, but still comfortably better than the various Gillette blades I've tried. The lubrication strip works very well, with, for me, no more or less irritation than the Titaniums. Curiously, Wilkinson make their blades in Solingen, the home of top blades from swords to kitchen knives for hundreds of years, so perhaps a bit of it rubs off even at this little level.

I prefer wilkinson razors as the blades last longer for me. This is a replacement for my old razor which was looking tired. This is a smart razor at a good price. it is well designed with a secure docking station which also holds spare blades, so useful when you go on holiday. Other than that, it is a razor, so it does what it is supposed to do!

I'm a bit clumsy first thing in the morning but these blades mean that I don't cut myself to ribbons shaving in the morning. I much prefer them to the newer hydro version. They slide over my skin and work especially well I find with the Gillette shaving gel. Strangely I find the WIlkinson Sword gel isn't as smooth with these blades.

This is a good quality product at an excessive price, and it works as expected. I have not noticed any problems with it.Even the manger at a cinema concession stand or a printer ink manufacturer would condemn the price of replacement blades as excessive. Pound for pound they are more expensive than caviare.

Perfect. My local supermarkets never have these blades, and I'm sure it's a ploy by them and the manufacturers to force men into buying a new razor, and then having to buy newer, more expensive blades! I will now be using this site in order to continue buying perfectly good blades for a perfectly good razor!

I have used these blades for about 5 years now and find them equally as good if not better than any other brands I've tried. They are excellent value for money, especially compared to for example Gillette which cost almost twice the price. I would definitely recommend them to anybody. The Best ones.

This is the third or fourth time I have bought this product from this supplier and have always found the service efficient with delivery within a couple of days. It saves traipsing around the town trying to see which shop is the cheapest and thereby the better buy.Well done.

Having bought this item maybe three or four times before from this particular seller needlessto say prompt delivery (as we seem to leave ordering to the last minute!!) was much appreciated as is the most acceptable price to what is charged on the High Street.

When I saw the prices for these blades in the High Street shops decided to see if Amazon sold them and was pleased to find they did and at almost half the price of the ones in the shops. Arrived excellently packaged and exactly as advertised.

Have always bought wilkinson sword simply because they are the only blades to stay sharp for a reasonable length of time.It is also noteworthy they are the only brand to tackle my blade blunting bristles.
