I like it.Arrived quickly, well packaged by Amazon and within the product box.I'm using on a6000, so cannot comment on PDAF settings. I tried it with an EF50, EFS1855, EF28200 & EF70300USM IS.It didn't work with the EFS at all. It worked okay, ish, with the EF50, but that was only a brief try as I have a native 50.It worked okay with the EF28200, better towards the 28 end.I've mostly used it with the EF70300 as this is what I bought the adapter for and this is lens that is usually on my Canon 40D.It works well. The focus can hunt a bit, but that happens a lot on the 40D as well. The lens image stabilisation comes on with the shutter half press. It doesn't stay running for a long period,

This is the third adapter I have tried in an attempt to get a Canon 70-300 f4-5.6 II IS USM lens to auto-focus on my Sony A7Rii. An older Andoer/Commlite and current Fotodiox would not work, but this does. It works in PDAF and Contrast focus mode, and is reasonably quick (it does not support Eye-AF). Image stabilisation works but I am not sure whether it is working harmoniously with the Sony's IBIS (as a native lens would), or whether the two systems are operating independently of each other. The USB update capability is a real bonus - I have the adapter on firmware 1.8. I would have given this adapter five stars if both camera and lens mounts were chromed brass - the lens mount is but the camera mount is hard anodised alloy.

Excellent with my Canon EF 70-300 DO on Sony A6500. Focus is sharp and fast enough as I don't do sports photography. Good sharp photos and more compact than using an equivalent Sony lens so better handling.It only does manual focus with my Sigma 170-500 but I'll very rarely use that so given 4 stars.

Fantastic adaptor for my Sony A7m2 the list of canon lens to work properly are on the viltrox web site works on all of my canon lens i have amazing photos great colour fully recommend this product to anyone

Initially disappointed as it wouldn't focus with my Canon EF 75-300mm lens. I then downloaded the lastest firmware version and after updating, it does now focus my lens - very happy now!!

I had a bunch of EF-S lens which did not focus using another adaptor, but the Viktrox one had no problems with them.
