Bought for a Tamron G2 SP 150-600 mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD A022 Lens kit for Nikon Camera - Black of the cheaper cases this is the one that seems to fit the Tamron 150-600 G2. It is a tight fit but with a little wiggle the lens fits in the case, with lens hood on (reversed) and with the foot in place.Inserting the lens front element first ends up with the lens at a slight angle, not sure how much strain this will put on the lens hood. I wouldn't put the lens in the case without the lens hood attached as it rattles around a bit. I wouldn't insert the lens rear element first with the lens hood attached as you can't get a grip on anything to remove it.Removing the lens is hard work unless you rotate to disconnect the lens hood first, then you have a lot of wiggling to get the hood out.I'm hoping the foam will compress a little over time and allow easier insertion and removal.Fabric quality and stitching appear very good. Shoulder strap is plain 25mm webbing, with plastic clips so is no use at all really. There is a large belt loop, closed with velcro. The velcro appears strong but I would not wear a case this big on a belt, especially with 2Kg of lens inside.I will use this purely as a storage case and protection when travelling but the case will be carried inside another bag.

Bought this to store my Nikon 200-500 lens, the soft carry bag supplied was pants. It is put together well, all stitching was nicely completed with no loose stitches rough edges. The ring attachments look to be secure, but I have not field tested these, so cannot yet comment on how robust they are.The padding is reasonable and would offer good protection against dropping the lens from a low (2-3 feet) onto a hard surface. There are probably cases that would offer more protection, but this is good enough for my needs and streets ahead of the supplied case.It fits the 200-500 lens with the tripod shoe but not the lens hood. I rarely use lens hoods, but this may be a consideration for other purchasers. My main use is lens storage, the lens is too tall for my bags but I use a bag when taking the lens out shooting, so will probably never hang the case off a bag or rugsack. In summary, my main use is storage and protection against bangs, bumps and falls when kit is being moved in and out of cupboards. I have not and probably will not test the strap strength and resistance to large quantities of rain, but it looks like it could handle this very well, it is a nicely contracted piece of kit.

Excellent well padded lens case of the large size.I put an Oly 4/3's 14mm-35mm f2.0 lens and my Pen-F with 12mm attached in and still have space left for another prime or 2!The photo shows my Pen-F will easily fit face-on as well as sidey ways.75mm in the mouth of the case to show scale. Or the rather cavernous inside of the case! The case is well stitched with no frays or odds n ends showing on any of the stitching or straps. There are multiple D-rings for attaching to a ruck sack or such like.Comes with a shoulder strap too, tho I always change any plastic connectors to a sturdier laptop strap with hardy metal connectors.Excellent value and while it wont protect contents from high impact damage,it is certainly up to lifes small knocks.Very versatile and sutiable for so much more than just camera lens! Will buy another so I can safely transport my complete m4/3's bodies and lens in a convenient package. And another for fishing reels, and another for....

This was bought to be used with the Tamron 150-600 G2 (Nikon). The quality is fine. Solid stitching, good zippers. The padding is slightly thinner than the corresponding Lowepro. The plastic D-rings for the shoulder strap looks thin, but will never be used. I always travel with the lens in a suitcase or carry it in my backpack. If you combine the two circular straps and the thick back-strap (with the JCC tag on), this would make a solid and safe arrangement for carrying the lens strapped to the outside of your backpack. It is not waterproof, but water repelling. It fits the Tamron 150-600 G2 with a squash and a squeeze. I have to put it into the bag with the camera mount down, and of course, the lens hood must be inverted. A bag like this is utterly necessary if you have bought the lens, and this would be a good buy. JJC DLP-7 130 x 310 mm Water Resistant Deluxe Lens Pouch with Strap - Black

I am very pleased with the quality and price of this product. It is a bargain, especially with the included postage and delivery using Prime. There seems to be some confusion over sizing in some reviews: Maybe the case has been updated or reviews are for a different model, but I can confirm that the one I have purchased in April 2019 , size 7, labelled DLP-7 easily holds the Sigma DG 150-500 F5-6.3 APO HSM lens with room to spare, with both the tripod collar and reversed lens hood fitted. There is room to place an extra inch of foam in the base to increase cushioning.I find that clipping the strap to the two bands around the case circumference and carrying the case horizontally provides a morecomfortable carrying position.

Great replacement for the bag that came with my Sigma 150-500 that smells like old socks for some reason. Physically smaller than many other bags but seems just as padded. The side loops look well made and the belt strap works well and doesn't look like it'd ever fall off. I'll have to confirm this over a year or so. The strap is a bit weedy but most people will be supplying their own or wearing it on a belt. I use it with the PeakDesign system and it works well.

This fits my Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary lens perfectly, and is better padded than the case that comes with the lens. There is also a water resistant lining material where the zips fasten over, for extra protection from the elements. Well padded, and it's a nice snug fit when the lens hood is inserted at the bottom of the case and the tripod attachment is fitted on the lens. Very pleased with this purchase.

I bought this for added protection for my new Tamron AF150-600 F5-6.3 super zoom lens. Having had a problem with damage to my 10-24mm wide angle that cost a packet to repair I now encase all my lenses in similar pouches. The lens fits the pouch as snug as a bug in a rug, robustly made and insulated against impact. Good quality and useful carrying strap and straps/clips that attach to my Tamrac camera bag.

25.6.2016

This is a large case that swallows my 100-400 Fuji zoom complete with foot with no problem. The reason for only four stars is that the carry strap clips look rather flimsy, on a bag designed for a large lens I would have expected the strap to loop round the bottom of the case for extra security.Other than that the case is pretty good even has a filter pouch in the lid which holds my 77mm ND filter.

Just adding a point to the 57 other reviews. The case is very good quality...but...as I was led to believe it will NOT hold a Tamron 150-600 with the lens hood on in position for use.In fact with the collar on the lens it is an extremely tight fit.If you are thinking like me of just being able to place the lens in this ready to take out quickly, think again, it's a small ordeal to get it in.

14.3.2017

Fits my Tamron 150-600 lens with the tripod mount attached perfectly the hood on the lens when reversed slides easily in with the lens too.It is well made from good quality materials and is well padded. The strap supplied with it is a little in the short side for my liking but other than that cannot fault. If you need a case for a lens of this size i think you would be pleased with this.

Perfect fit for protecting and carrying my Sigma 150-600 C HSM OS zoom lens. The case is well made and well padded. It has a belt loop and a carrying strap. The fit is "just right" snug for the Sigma 150-600 C HSM OS zoom lens with the tripod mount attached and a UV filter on the front. It is much better that the case that comes with the lens. Not so bulky and much easier to carry.

I bought this item specifically because of the advertised internal diameter dimension. In this I was rather disappointed as the one I received is a bit smaller than this - however, I am prepared to wait as I'm sure it will stretch with wear. Overall though it's a very good quality product and a lot cheaper than its main brand rivals and I am pleased with my purchase

Almost perfect for sigma 100-400mm contemporary, slight movement side to side but once zipped up holds the lens secure..The only issue is the strap has plastic clips so won't use it but will look for a strap with metal clips. One star off for the straps plastic clips and very thin material.

12.4.2016

Without the tripod mounting ring on my Nikon 200-500mm lens fits inside really well. Nice and padded and plenty of options with the strap for carrying it around with you. A must-have if you don't want your lens to get smashed and so much better than the flimsy case my lens came with .
