For years now, Ive been buying this knife. Its the first choice of agency chefs and its 'my go' to knife for most jobs in the kitchen.It does wear out after daily use, maybe last a year. if you do sharpen it with a steel, as you eventually will, its going to lose its serrated edge. Just buy another one!

If you have rustic bread, cakes or pretty much any kind of pastry type item to cut, get this knife.The length means it won't fit in a lot of standard knife blocks, but that doesn't matter. It's absolutely worth having.

I've used these knives for years for general purpose kitchen work. Do not try and save a couple of quid getting imitations, the blades tend to be much thicker and therefore much heavier and slower to use.
