This is a great mount for installing a couple of 1u height components onto a wall. I've used it to secure a patch panel and switch in the garage (where all the network cabling in the house meet).There does appear to be some confusion about the dimensions of this product. The descriptive text is incorrect on the product details, but the dimensions information IS correct. This mount is for 19 INCH (width) rack mounted equipment, such as patch panels. It's 6 INCHES deep, rather than the 4 INCHES described in the product narrative.It is supplied with a set of 4 nuts and bolts, along with an allen key. You'll need to provide your own screws to secure it to a wall.

This is a good product for the price, it's a bit flimsy the metal bent a little when I was mounting the 24 port patch panel. This is about all this is good for really, anything heavier will break it. The main issue I had with this is that only 4 mounting screws were provided. You need 8. When you unscrew the other side and open it, the devices attached will shift due to the weight. So really you can only mount one thing on it. What i'll do is go to the hardware store and buy some bolts and stuff for the side that isn't going to be screwed and unscrewed. Still good for the price. If it was 60 bucks I'd be pissed.

This item was exactly what my business needed to secure our new telephone 24 port punch down panel. It's great for a small job or compact space. Look at bigger units if you need to mount more than two single units and ensure the mounting space is strong enough to bear the final weight.Overall sturdy affordable and professional product, and it's a prime item... what not to love

Well made bracket, seems plent sturdy for mr needs of a patch panel and cable organizer. My only complaint is that it doesnt have center cage mounts. I purchased a Startech cable organizer to use in this, and it only has the center mounting holes. Last but not least, as others have mentioned, it only includes four cage nuts & screws for one 1u install.

It was just laying in a box much bigger then rack, with nothing to protect it, or at least buffer damage. Also rack screws weren't attached to anything. Just floating around.The only reason I gave it 4 stars, was because nothing was damaged or missing.

The mount allowed us to reuse a patch panel previously installed in a rack. The hinged swing feature in the mount allows for some access to the back side of the patch panel in case we need to add additional cables.

Exactly as described. Works perfect. Thanks.Just a little bit too shallow to mount my 16 port NetGear rack-mount switch, but works great for a patch panel mount. Looks like deeper ones are a bit harder to find.

Price was good, and wall mount is well built. I am using a 2U Wall mount with a 1U 24 port patch panel.Hinge design allows easy access to back of patch panel for move or add of circuits.A very good purchase.

This makes my home ethernet wiring MUCH more organized and maintainable. I mounted both the old CAT-5 panel and the new CAT-6 panel above each other, so the 2U is the right size.

really heavy duty . I have installed hundreds of these and this is now my go to . It's set up for a server cage nuts, but they supply all of the goods.
