Had this for a year now and as others have said its a great fun; love it to bits. However homer has started slurring his words of late ... nothing beer related this time, its the batteries that are running low. Fair enough, so I remove the 6 tiny screws holding this thing together, only to find the three button batteries are hard wired to the system board. If you're handy with a soldering iron then you may be able to replace the batteries, otherwise this will eventually become a mute item. And no Mr Manufacturer, I will not be buying a replacement every time the batteries dispel as I am sure you would like.In summary, fun but ultimately - flawed.

I bought the product as a gift to replace one that had broken. I therefore don't assume this one will last forever, but it's funny while it lasts!The only problem I had was that the small piece of "tester" metal in the plastic packaging kept setting the opener off when it wasn't being touched. This meant that the wrapped present under the Christmas tree kept bursting out with "Mmmm, beer"!

What to say about this. GENIUS. It makes me just want to open all the bottles in my case (maybe not so good). It has the Homer voice which starts every time you open a bottle with about a 15second recording saying phrases like "Hmmmmm sweet sweet beer" amongst other thing.Great stocking filler for any Simpson fan.

My husband had one of these years ago but unfortunately it stopped working. It makes us laugh every time he uses it.He was delighted when i managed to get a replacement from Amazon, well done amazon.

This is my second purchase. I love this device but the batteries don't last long and it's nigh on impossible to replace them. Consider this a fun product with a limited lifespan

A great bottle opener and always cheers me up (no pun intended!) However, it is now just about impossible to have a sneaky Bud without alerting everyone! Good fun.

This product seems to be well made and the voice quality seems to be pretty realisitc.Any Simpsons fan would welcome thins addtion to their collection I'm sure

great replaces the old one when the battries flat lined,could not get replacement battries.lasted for about two years also have elvis opener.

Someone brought one of these some time ago for my husband. He loves it. So much so, he wore it out! I was amazed to find a replacement!
