For the price this gadget is good enough value, but I'm sure for only a small extra cost it could have been made from metal rather than plastic. A their would not find it hard to lever this lock off with a screwdriver or just cut it off with a junior hacksaw. Still its better than nothing and will act as a deterrent.

Takes a little time to assemble (allow 20/30 minutes) but once made up and in place it is a quality piece of kit. Had to use a PIN 13/7 converter to attach it to my Landrover Discovery but otherwise it was fitted and working straight from the box. Recommended.

Looks and feels cheap but it achieves the airm of fulfilling our bike insurance criteria that says bikes are only insured on a car towbar mounted bike carrier if the bikes are locked to the carrier and the carrier is locked to the car.

Easy to use, and will deter casual theft. Not sure it will survive being bashed by a club hammer though
